i'm into that simplistic hippie everything-will-be-alright kind of ethos they have nowadays. its not for everyone. i think they make music for a different audience now and chris' lyrical sensibilities have changes. for my part their new music both lyrically and musically resonates emotionally for me and i think they still do great melody. they are the only mainstream pop band i really like really.

that's so nice, a really good way and refreshing of listening and feeling music fr. i still hold them dear in my hear, parachutes literally changed me and my mom lives lol also had the radiohead/muse/coldplay combo everyone ate back in the days. really wish i could have been like that still,

first listen i wasnt rly blown away, mostly thought that the songs were definitely suited for a full album listen and were better than mots. but i've listened to it more since and wow. A tier album i think. the lyrics are a bit sparse in some places but i think its their most emotional since AROBTTH. my fav is prob the title track. hbu pookie??

hmmm, well, i've only listened up to resistance (plus wotp) so far, but i'd say it's a toss-up between showbiz and OoS for me, though i find OoS sliiiightly more consistent with an energy i really love. BHaR is a close second to those 2, absolution is growing on me (i love hysteria and falling away), and i think i'll have to give resistance some time to
