I really appreciate the effort. I ended up finding it on this site: http://www.b3ta.cr3ation.co.uk/site/music-plus/ as per a friends suggestion. Yeah, shame about that single track standing out amongst a big pile of crapola from that artist, but at least there is the one track.

Good luck in Florida. I bet you'll love it. Watch out for panic attacks though! Chicago induced my first one last night. It was pretty absurd. I'm perfectly content right now though. I'll have to check out that album when I get back from listening to my Kermit the Frog voice professor talk about how badass holograms are for three hours.

I missed Tobacco cause I didn't have the money! :( I've listened to a couple Dr. Dog songs before, but it never really caught my attention. I'll give them a try again though.

I don't know how I feel about this! Except the Modest Mouse was number 31 somehow, and Girl Talk was lingering around 49. I couldn't take it anymore.

Yeah, I definitely dig the BMSR + OP album.. I still have yet to hear an Octopus Project album though, so I'm on the lookout for that. It annoys me how last.fm recommends the wrongly-tagged version of that album almost every week to me, though. Oh well, at least last.fm is well intentioned :]

Hi just saw you were listening to the latest BMSR.. ever heard the lost picking flowers in the woods EP? it's awesome as well. also, noting the shout below this, did you happen to notice when the word 'dubloon' came back into style?

Lmao. Dude. I'm not trying to say one person or band is more influential that another, or that people before the beatles aren't influential. Ipso facto, every musician in all of history influences every other one. It's just a thought problem.

Oh I'm not trying to discredit anyone. But it is true, even the beachboys and bob dylan in their mid-sixties careers were inspired by the beatles. To say someone was inspired by The Beatles doesn't mean they were ONLY inspired by them ;) Everyone is inspired by everyone else, even if they don't want to admit it

Haha...Fifth Beatle. There are so many of those, it's not even funny. I listen to a lot of people who were inspired by the Beatles...considering just about everyone after 1964 was inspired by them ;)

cows are very useful. out of things to be considered sacred, cows seem like a very reasonable choice. i hope my wearing of socks with cows on them right now would not be considered offensive...

haha, i figured. & we get bands occasionally, but most just skip us for philly/pittsburgh, so it's always a 3hr drive :( but you should still consider it. we have . . . cows. and football-enamored college students. but the cows are nice!

I've actually just listened to most of Surgery, and I love that last track, a killer jam. Also quite digging the sister ray vibe of Shake the Dope Out and a few others... btw Mormons are nuts, I know a few. Once they discover booze, WHOOO they're like a freshman with a fake ID! or at least, that's how my pal Miggles went

That's what I thought, it's hilarious.. and yeah, good music is good tripping or not. Heh oh yeah & I don't have thaaat much music time, I've just been w/ this site for 2 1/2 years now... (though admittedly leave it running sometimes!) Anyway I just today got a Warlocks record (the new one) and definitely dig 'em...

thank you for the listening suggestion. although our taste-o-meter is very low, the things that we do have in common are fantastic. belle and sebastian, sufjan stevens, etc etc.

Ah. Well Elliott Smith is too emo for my tastes anyway. We'd just end up getting wasted and crying all night.
