Cardiacs is an addiction that I should revisit more often. I had a period in early 2010 when I pretty much listened to them non-stop! Last year the exact same thing happened with Dog Fashion Disco and Polkadot Cadaver. Then it was prolonged all the way until summer due to the Cadaver releasing their second album. :) This year started pretty swell with the new Knives Out! album but then it went downhill when I've got drown back into the Power Metal swarm (a place I tried to avoid for nearly a decade). Oh well, hopefully this curse will pass soon... that's pretty much what I've been telling myself for the last two month! :S

I definitely recommend starting with their later albums, their last three are all excellent. Lately I've really been digging The Smother Party ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyOIFl8Veb8 ) but I got started with The Blind Spot ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV175ALKENc ). So either of those would be a great place to start. I think that The Quiet Room has one of their more popular pieces though ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VLZ2r-x8Z8 )

אגב רשמת זה באמת אלבום ממש ממש טוב- סוג של אוואנט קאנטרי פולק רוק פופ אפוקליפטי כזה. אחד מהטובים. דרך אגב בגלל הדף שלך החלטתי סוף סוף להקשיב לאורת'רלם עם או.בי! אלבום פסיכי לגמרי, אני מקשיב לו לפני שאני באובססיביות כמעט. מה זה אומר באובססיביות כמעט ? יצא לך משפט קצת מוזר - כמו האלבום עצמו :)
