I think its pretty fantastic! its much different for sure, but when you look at your Gogol collection as a whole it rounds everything else out quite nicely in my opinion. did I tell you that I saw em again, on 4/27, it was the day after the album release and it was unbelievable!! they'v gotta be coming your way soon.

do you have the new gogol album yet? what do you think, also on a stranger note, is you last name church? facebook just suggested I become friends with a tory church from some town starting with a K in BC Canada, I have no idea how it would make that connection but i dont know any other tories from canada.

ah darn, thats a bummer, the tour is for a new album to! so even if you aren't able to see em this time around you'l still have something devastatingly exciting to look forward to.

Oh man I cant remember em all, there was undestructible, sally, fifty revolutions, start wearing purple, think globally, Baro Foro, not a crime, alcohol and a ton others, then a massive encore that ended with a song with gust singers from the butthole surfers then a incredible Gogol medley. then there was an after party at a local bar that I'm only three months too young to get into :-(. I'm GOING to see them again. next time they are within anywhere mildly closeish, and I strongly strongly suggest you do the same.

ok, I'l tell you the story, I saw them at webster hall in New York City, There were a maximum of three hundred people so it was a pretty small place, but me and my friends got there early anyway so we could be close to the stage, I was right against the gait a little to the right of center stage. and everyone was dancing and going crazy and it was sooo hot and waters cost 5$ so i didn't buy any and I got incredibly dehydrated and Yuri threw his water bottle into the crowd and I jumped and it landed right in my hand and possibly saved my life. and I got High fives from the entire band except Eugene and Sergey:-( and Pedro was walking in the stage and I flashed him the peace sign and he jumped up super high and gave me a fantastically powerful high five. IT was hands down the best concert experience of my life.

Oh my, I SAW GOGOL ON SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!! I'm still so sore, it was the high point of my life!

and for that reason I don't think you need to worry about GB getting to big, they're not catering to the masses they're doing there thing not trying to win popularity contests.

yes please link it to me I think I cant take it :-), I think its nice when unheard of bands get popular..its what their goal was after all...but I HATE it when they compromise themselves or there image or there music to get popular...popularity and compromise seem like they tend to go hand in hand..but I love it when a hard working band gets big without selling out..however rare that might be.

no I haven't seen the kitten heal picture haha, It is sad to see em go mainstream, but I was reading that eugene and madonna are longtime friends..so hopefully its just a friendship thing and not a her picking them up because they are getting popular thing...

yeah, I'm gonna hope for the best but expect the worst that way I wont be disappointed :-) I figure most of the people who were bashing it haven't seen it but they picture them selves as some sort of "Gogol bordello purist" so they'r trash talking it just because it was directed by madonna....and I'l admit just saying madonna leaves a bad taste in my mouth but heck don't deny it before you try it..

Yeah, they sell it on amazon, and i was reading the reviews and it was mostly people bashing it or madonna fans saying they liked it,..who knows though...only time will tell.
