Hey there, I came across some of your posts about Secede... First off you say you have some live recordings: I would be very grateful if I could hear those! Secondly I saw you mention this "Kettel Remixed" which I had not heard of, but have now managed to get a copy in rubbishy AAC 256 format; do you possibly have that in a higher bitrate? Thirdly... because I ended up doing some Kettel research, I stumbled upon the fact that the Japanese Itunes version of Whisper Me Wishes has two bonus tracks: "Hoopvol"; and "Whisper Me Wishes & Cello". I was wondering if you knew about this/had copies of the tracks. I know I have some Kettel (and possibly Secede) live recordings somewhere on my harddrive, so if it was something you didn't have I'd be happy to pass those on. Hi there, Simon. Sorry for the late response, but I haven't been paying much attention to Last.fm lately. No, I haven't heard anything new from Secede and the iTunes application seems a bit cumbersome to use. Know of any other ways to hear the remix? In any case, thank you for letting me know. =)

Heh heh. I found both sets on Slsk and am currently listening to the one aired on Proton Radio, but thank you for your offer to send them to me. The Proton Radio mix is pure brilliance! I'm only 10 minutes in and I'm really joyous right now, haha. Yeah, about the sets, I couldn't find anything else besides those two, but I'll be sure to let you know if I find anything. Oh yeah, I just revisited sendingorbs.com and Secede is supposed to mix somewhere in Utrecht on September the 11th. I can only hope the mix will be recorded and made available on the interwebs. I'm sorry for the late response, but RL can be a pain at times. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you've said, though. To my mind, his music is much more than samples, tones, scales, keys, etc. I honestly believe he first paints each piece/track before actually making it "sound". It's just too intricate and sweet sounding for your one-track-a-day/week type of artist to achieve. Whatever the means, the result is just too damn good and truthful in a fairy tale kind of way. Haha, my words are so shallow compared to what I'm seeing/hearing/feeling/bla when I listen to *Secede. Aaanyway, I thought about looking for his live sets, but I never quite knew what to look for and THANKS to you, now I do. I'm really glad some people out there share similar feelings towards his music as I do. I'll make sure to shout back after listening to the mentioned live sets a few (hundred?) times. Thank you! :)

Hey thanks for the reccomendation, I'll check it out. I keep meaning to get back to you about MJ1, but I honestly haven't listened to it enough times yet to really know. My opinion probably won't change much though: it's good, it's nice, but it doesn't top many of his other albums in terms of variety. To me it's like TFW, I like it, but not that much cos it's not as everchanging as MD, VI or WMW (and I basically don't listen to anything earlier than that).
