Nope I just stay on top of their twitter/interviews and what not. That's where they mentioned the direction of the EP and said it would have no screaming, but yeah I have no idea if this is a permanent shift or just a style they wanted to experiment with on the short EP. They haven't really announced it but Jack, their guitarist isn't in the band anymore, so Alex is the only original member left. Brennan had taken on third guitar in some parts live, but I have no idea if he is able to take over Jack's guitar parts live and still sing or if they will replace Jack. Guess we will find out!

The new EP has 0 screaming, but it is just an EP, I forget if its 4 or 5 songs, but I don't believe the heavy side is gone forever :)

A gauntlet has been thrown!! First, I haven't downloaded her album yet; I've been downloading songs I hear and like on the radio, and that was one of them. Second, "universally panned?" Her debut album (which apparently came out just a few days ago) has gotten pretty uniformly middling-to-favorable reviews; nothing gushing, but most mainstream reviewers don't seem to think it's trash. Third, since when does a song have to be "meaningful" to be good? Sometimes a fun song with a good beat can be more effective musically than a hardcore/screamo concept album about Prince von Metternich or something, even if the latter may be more "meaningful" (and I would argue even that, depending on the specific music being compared). I guess what I'm getting at is: haters gonna hate, I'm blasting that dance pop in my headphones 'till the crack of dawn PS: I had a same problem with plays not updating a long time ago. I'll try to remember what I did, if anything, to make it work again.

Haha well thanks! They're interesting courses nonetheless. This past semester was my first straight A semester haha. Go figure it would happen when I had 4 accounting classes. Guess I picked the right career haha.

Business Law 1 was awesome. Don't get me wrong, it's hard work, but Copeland is an amazing professor. It's a relative class though, so basically you're only as good as the other students in the class. Usually that works in my favor, but this semester, there's some pretty smart grad students in the classes lol.

Yeah Business Law 2 and 3 for me (one of the 4-5:15 classes bastards!), Strategic Management, and Drugs, Mind, and Behavior (to wrap up my Psychology minor).

Hell no. Unfortunately I still have to do the credo and oral either way. But I have 4 required classes next semester, so its not even a possibility. But yeah....darn stetson. I do not approve of 5:15 ending classes.

Sounds good to me. The only thing that sucks is that I have a class til 515 on some days. Go figure :(

Haha yes yes of course. Transitions Art Gallery in tampa. Awesome place :) Got some good bands on it though. Honestly they opened up what was supposed to be an Oceana show the other night (though they dropped due to vocalist being sick) and they blew my mind. Seriously should be opening for ETID or The Chariot or both. And then I heard it's only their fourth show. Their recordings are horrid and don't even show you what amazingness they produce haha.

Lolol oh well we shall see :) I saw this amazing band play here the other night. Von Wolfe. You'd really dig em. Apparently they're from Daytona. They're playing a show I'm booking this upcoming Sunday but that obviously does you no good haha. And their myspace recordings are garbage, but live...WOW. Just saying :)

Haha it's quite possible that you will hate Whitechapel, but maybe once I introduce you to them and you see what kindhearted southern gentleman they are, you will change your mind :)

I guess shredding mountains is a good excuse :) But you should check it out soon haha. Oh boy Im so excited for warped tour. Im making you watch Whitechapel :D

Haha well I hated every other band playing, but I wanted to see Whitechapel. Plus we've become good friends, so it's worth it. And have a thing for one of em haha! But yeah. I was on the side of the stage and this kid kept jumping up on the stage to dive off of it....well he kept stepping on one of their pedal boards.....so he like let go of his guitar and straight pushed the guy off the stage. It was hilarious :] And just check out Harvard. Trust me!

Yeah I appreciate the plays also, cause they're making my ears real happy. So Is Harvard. Should check that out if you haven't heard before. But for now, face smashing :D

Yeah exactly. Or people thought they were doing me a favor by standing in front of me and "protecting" me. I'm like no.....you're blocking my view and putting me in your sweat splash zone. I wear a nice dress to the show and 1) get rained on in line for 40 minutes and 2) get drenched in OTHER peoples sweat. So much for that! Unfortunately there were no Alaskan tacos that evening. I just wanted to go home and shower and sleep lol. But next time I'm down there for sure!!

It was a really good show. The crowd got really irritating at times. When you're trying to stand in the back of the room and just enjoy the show and idiots think they should just push pit all the way back there. I couldn't even enjoy August Burns Red. Hardcore dancing I can handle lol. But when people think that just pushing around and running into everyone is fun...then I get pissed haha. Plus some guys were just being big babies. They would stand on the edge of the pit and when someone got close to them, they would back up into me trying to avoid getting hit. I'm like for fucks sake I'LL stand in front of you then so that you don't hae to be all sweaty and keep hitting me....haha. Pansies. But overall...good hahaha

It really is a fantastic place. There's 3 venues within walking distance of it, so your chances of winding up there are pretty high. Though am a bit bummed that you're gonna miss this show. There aren't shows at Ritz often, but it is one snazzy place. Possibly the best lights and sound of any Tampa venues. Only the real big shows go there though cause it's quite the expensive place to play at. The only other shows I've seen there are Taking Back Sunday w/ Envy On The Coast and the Bring Me The Horizon/Architects/ETID/Oh Sleeper tour. But alrighty, next semester I will keep you updated with my adventures haha.

I am in no way shape or form lying to you! This fancy little joint is called Mema's Alaskan Tacos. They have all sorts of "mexican" food...tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, you name it. But basically, with the tacos, they assemble the taco and then drop it in a deep fryer. It makes the shell like magically delicious. It's hard to explain, but trust me. Your life will never be the same.

Haha maybe I'm just a tad more heartless than you. I'd be like bro...sucks for you I'm going to UOath AND getting delicious alaskan tacos. Yeah you heard me. ALASKAN.

Haha seriously you either need to be like....sorry bro I'm peacin! OR just stay on campus until like wednesday afternoon and go to the show in Tampa and then drive home from there? Bam problem solved x2. There's a lovely little taco place walking distance from the venue that only the real locals know about. You can always catch Spencer there after a show haha. Caught him there after Taking Back Sunday. Sierra from versa is usually there too. Not to mention the food is like heavenly haha.
