how is the new deftones album?

Thanks for the recommendations, man. And I'll be sure to check out that Gimmik track! I'd love to try and start producing IDM at some point. I have a friend who produces it, so I should arrange a session with him and maybe try and merge psytrance with IDM. I'd also love to have a minimalist dark psytrance project that incorporates guitars in a non-cheesy way... maybe something pretty fast but with massive, reverberated guitar riffs strummed now and then, doom metal-style. :D

Ahh, wicked, that's one of my favourites! I love the bit where I scream "existeeeence..." and the double bass kick drum comes in. Heart-wrenching, haha. Yeah man, Gimmik's wicked! I fucking love the tune 'Sarah' - that one rules... so melodic! I need to find more IDM like it, only know of a few (you heard 'Hasty Boom Alert' by µ-Ziq? That song is ace! So far ahead of its time... Mostly nowadays I listen to psychedelic trance though, especially the more fierce stuff. Producing it as well, haha. :D Oh yeah, also, big-ups on Amesoeurs and Alcest too dude, everything Neige is involved in rocks... (wish the Shoutbox would let me use paragraph spaces!!)

Yeah fair enough, I add people for that reason too. You start to get a feel for people's personalities through shoutboxes after a while, although my shouts are often of pretty base intellect haha. I saw WITTR last year and they were pretty excellent. I've heard people complaining about their live shows though specifically on last.fm. Can't think what for but then again last.fm is 90% whiney bitches and bad trolls. Check out me and my friend's blog, it's awesome and links from my page!

Called you tonight chaser...How are you doing?

Well it was a short set since they were opening for Pelican. They only played two songs but that went on for about 30 minutes. I know started with “I Will Lay Down My Bones Among the Rocks and Roots” . the last was an old one as well. I have to admit I was relieved that they didn't play any off of Black Cascade. haha.. But looks like when you see them they will be the headliner, i know they will still play the really good stuff for you. :)
