Totally! I ended up chatting to the venue photographer at the last MTB gig 'cause I was on my own, and he managed to not only get me to the front of the gig, but got me to breifly meet them. It was all kinds of awesome, despite the fact I shit myself and ended up asking about Sharks Keep Moving? I don't know... I was kinda drunk too...

Way I see it; I aint missing out on an ace band just because my friends have inferior tastes in music heh. I tend to enjoy gigs more on my own; non of my friends are as passionate abotu music as me, they don't get as excited or as into it as I do. When I go solo I can go mental heh. I'm a barmaid, so I've got the gift of the gab; I'm always making new friends at gigs :]
