Pretty awful. The opening track and Dem Worlds were pretty much the only decent things. Everything else just felt hilariously amateurish and the synths were atrocious.

Sounds legit. I would love to find some place around my campus that had local bleeps and bloops gigs. I listened to that entire video you sent me, breakcore isn't really my cup of tea (except for Enduser, for some reason). Check out FLUME's debut LP. Shit was pretty interesting, I don't know if I could call it "glitch-hop" though.

I see what you're talking about. R.I.P. kinda had a Flying Lotus-vibe to me - I thought his music was disjointed but sprinkled with highlights at first, but after a while I started noticing a cohesive flow. I'll torrent some stuff from Davwuh and the other three you mentioned in a bit.

Yeah, I enjoyed R.I.P.. Also, if you like drum and bass with some psy influences and tinge of breaks, I would check out Cybernetika. I've been pretty burnt out on DnB but his LPs are actually refreshing (and they're free on his site, too)

For real, I actually love the bubblegum overload on Give Me All Your Luvin', and I absolutely agree with those bad tracks. So many seem to be averse to the Benassi-produced ones, but they're pretty mindlessly fun enough. Gang Bang just sounds like she's trying too hard. And I'm already not a fan of the dubsteps too much, so those occasional drops just sound like a gimmick at relevance than Madonna's spin on the style. But yeah, where it's good, it's really good.

i did, but just once so far. i honestly wasn't too keen on it, though the production--largely on the Orbit tracks--was superb. "Love Spent" was quite good and I really dug the beat on "Best Friend." Probably in time my opinion will shift and it'll all grow on me.
