yeah its annoying. using c++ is better for development than the other .net languages, also means we can use libmtp and make a cross platform app. i did rewrite the code in C#, its really not pretty. we also need to use a smart algothrim, that generates a correct scrobble list to send to last.fm, i.e. needs to work out the order of play, the gap in-between each track etc... so to last.fm it looks like valid data. and each time the app sync's, it needs to mark the scrobbles between the last submitted time and the current time. if that makes sense?
