To quote Robb, "Fuck yeah, jazz!" It's about the only genre of music keeping me sane these days, and awesome all around. Everything is well, although my cat is sick which sucks - but other than that it has been a beautiful summer here on LwongAyland. Miss ya, man. I hope all is great, too. <3

ah, we are back to medium now. no idea why. listening to some death? ah, a pleasant surprise. I've always thought Schuldiner was cut from a cloth nobody else came from. Haven't always been the biggest fan of his vocals, but the music was always top notch. The music is just in a class all it's own though... like Chuck was part alien or something. Yes, part alien.

How the HELL did that happen??? Perhaps I've been listening to way too much ambient stuff for my own good. =( I'm sure once I get back to listening to hip-hop more often, last.fm shall realize our compatibility once more. Or perhaps the meter is just broken. <3 <3 <3

Yup, they never get old. I need to jam Ironman a few times soon just for old time's sake.

awesome! yeah, they're a band I like to privately jam out to once in a while. I see you've been on a hip-hop kick lately, haha. I need to get back into that stuff a little more...

Yeah how addictive is Lemurian?!?! This is what Bibio said about it - "This is daydream music, you can't listen to it without going off somewhere. Personally, I slip into the daydream of being sucked into the 80s arcade game 'Outrun' and tearing around a looped pixellated parallel to Miami or some other palm-tree-avenued sea front, with Lemurian pumping out of the car stereo of course." Pretty accurate hey haha. Feel free to hit me up with some recommendations of things you don't see in my charts.

Haha not at all man. I see Lone in your charts - I got recommended to check out a duo he is in, Kona Triangle. Their album Sing A New Sapling Into Existence is pretty dope!

heeyylow. You might be interested in checking out "psychedelic alien dreampop" band Moon Pie: http://www.last.fm/music/Moon+Pie ... our sound was once described as "a cross between elephant 6 and early Residents"

I sure do dig the incredible string band. I don't think I'm gonna make avett brothers. Are you planning on going to Deerhoof?

yeah man, I was there. I thought it was really great! I was sort of looking for you except for the fact that I have no idea what you look like... that hindered the process a bit. I was right up front.

I went to Built to Spill tonight, it was pretty fun but the crowd was kinda lame. I'm going to Caribou/Fuck Buttons in April...

Hey man, thanks a lot for letting me hear A Portrait of Jesus Christ in Music, I like it a lot although I don't think it's quite as good as The Christ Tree...

I seriously want to hear it like crazy but I can't find it... I'm gonna buy the single disc reissue of the christ tree but the box is sold out... I got this from someone on the Collected Animals board and I literally can't stop listening to it. If you know where I can find the other tracks, I'd be really grateful...

not too bad down here. I go to school in Tampa but I commute from here. I just thought it was so odd that someone so close was seeming to listen to pretty similar music.

hey I just came to visit your page after noticing you in my neighbors and happened to see you went to Jason Anderson in Sarasota. I wandered around New College looking for the show but didn't really know my way around. I'm in Bradenton, weird, huh?

I noticed the Olivia Tremor Control on your page and thankfully decided to check them out. Amazing band! For some reason Soulseek decided to work, too. A rarity.
