That's awful, sorry to hear! Sounds like you got my bad luck from last year. Did you see Sonny & the Sunsets and Ducktails? Two of the acts I missed during the festival.

Just saw your wall post today - I made it back to PS this year for the 4th time, having missed last year. Had a great time as usual. How was your festival? Caribou (consistently brilliant) Tune Yards Ty Segall Gang Gang Dance Low Wolf People Shellac No Joy (never heard of them before, was blown away) Factory Floor Yuck

oh my, i hope there w i l l be compensations! those three bands (cocorosie, beach house and here we go magic) were the reasons why i bought the tickets and when i found out that they're perfoming on the same time, i was pretty disappointed. but nevertheless - primavera sound's gonna the c00lest festival in summer 2010 and i'm really looking forward to it. (:

Yeah gutted to have to cancel. I think I have someone sorted for the ticket alright, just sorting logistics. Please take lots of PS10 videos so I can watch them!

I don't know about Poland, since I am from Romania. (but I have Polish roots so you must have ESP). Anyway, Killing Joke isn't a popular band here; in fact I don't even know other people who listen to it here. I had a song of theirs and liked it so I wanted to listen to more of their music, I downloaded it and I somehow got to like them a lot. Yes, "download" is the new word for "purchase", in case the law comes swarming around. You never know how things go with slang these days.

Whoa--you met Thom? That must have been the thrill of a lifetime. I hope you recommended some covers for the next tour... The thrill of my lifetime will be hearing Thom sing the Beegees--or even Bread! I'm flexible.

Admiro a Thom hasta límites insospechados, no sé se dibería leer tu "crónica" jajaja, sólo de pensarlo...en fin... el festival, mi mejor año, y un cartel demasiado bueno, era imposible que defraudara...

Absolutley loved it. My 3rd year at Primavera Sound, it grows bigger each year but the quality and passion remains 100% all the time. Those 3 days every year are like heaven to me! This year Ponytail, MBV, magik markers, lightning bolt, Dan Deacon, The Bug, Sonic Youth, Aphex, Mahjonng, Oneida & Deerhunter were my favourites. So many greats!

woah didn't know you commented on here sorry! well not that i have time to look through your 97 pages of artists...but i looked through about 15 and there seem about 20 artists that i love and loads i don't know hehe. i definitely need to listen more...at the moment i'm in a bit of an unusual trancy phase so there is a lot of ministry of sound stuff but i love all the old stuff...all the decades except the 90s hehe.. anyway i'm listening and adding favourites more often on vagalume now so we should have some sort of compatibility soon!

where you at micah's concert? I really liked when he sang "this old guitar". sorry about the SAPMSPAMSPAMBACONSPAMBEANSSPAMSPAM, mi conexión a internet tiene vida propia. oasis/radiohead tampoco son mis puntos fuertes, pero el grupo está entretenido (y son de bilbao! y yo tengo una furgoneta azul) Me perdí el winter, mereció la pena? conciertos a la vista?
