Haha!! I was just thinking of the same thing as I didn't find it anywhere on the net, it was the quotation marks that made me think it's a release' name, anyway the vibe you get from them is partly what they're about cause I didn't hesitate about the name!

Is that a 7" or something they did? I haven't heard of it at all, I've only listened to "Agorapocalypse" by them, think it was the cover of Melvins' Boris they did with Isis for the tribute album in '05 that gained my attention rather than Scott Hull being involved.

Well, on the contrary I've been following their work for a long time, as they've been in the scene supporting many of my favorite bands on tour, not to mention Kurt Ballou's great production work, so of course I appreciate what they're doing too cause if it wasn't like that I wouldn't even bother checking the new record, but I think in the end Converge along with Pig Destroyer, remain as the two Noisecore/Grindcore bands I'll remember them more because of their members' being some great producers rather than great musicians.

It's definitely my next prey! How did you like the new Converge by the way? I've received a number of emails from the readers of my blog asking me why it wasn't on my top albums list, frankly I haven't been into much of their stuff, "Axe To Fall" was the only exception I think, and "All We Love We Leave Behind" while being good, wasn't anything that can mark its signature in my book, I gave it lots of listens, but except a few tracks it didn't grab me really.

They've done a split with Mammoth Grinder? That's cool cause I was about to check them out too, so I think I can kill the birds both with getting that split!

Also, my favorite anecdote from the show: there was this girl in front of me that about halfway through the performance became so terrified that she knelt down on the ground and covered her head while her boyfriend held her for the last hour of their time before us. a fitting image Sunn's effect on people

ah man words cant even describe, it was the most intense and spiritual two hours of my life. I could feel the vibrations flowing through my entire being and when I squeezed the air I could feel their sound, their drones truly tangible. it was as though I was in the presence of an invocation of some ancient god. they had attila with them too and let me tell you man, that nigga got some haunting pipes. I fucking wish! they decided to put Nails on at the same time Sunn was playing, if Southern Lord had a say in that they're some silly dudes. I got to see the Roots and that was pretty cool but nothing will touch my experience in the mystik fogg
