Hmm, well.. Firstly, I am not a huge fan of Sonata Arctica, although they definitely have their moments (new album is godly 0_0) and I know what you mean. About Tuomas, he's got more talent than most frontmen in generic symphonic metal. But I guess saying being one of the best of the generic isn't really that great? He's hot and all, but Vitalij Kuprij or Wirman (for Warmen, since new CoB is icky) destroy him

Oh I definitely agree. The fanbase (including guys) can be insanely rabid and annoying. As much as I agree that the loss of Tarja was a bad move, I don't go around saying "NIGHTWISH IS NOT NIGHTWISH WITHOUT TARJA" because they started sucking officially around Once, imo, when they still had her. Seriously, it's like people who say they like only old Metallica, but not new..and Metallica was never really great except possibly with Dave. But that's just my opinion..

well...I listen to a lot of bands who aren't that great, lol. Call them guilty pleasures...and I'd delete them from my library completely, but that's cheating.

Yes it is. I went through a massive film score phase, my second favorite easily Danny Elfman, who did like all that Tim Burton stuff ♥
