It's nice to meet other people from other places of world..... :) I'm brazilian, I'm from south of Brazil. Yeah I enjoy a lot your musical library, it sounds very riot grrrl to me. :) I enjoy a lot this musical and cultural scenario, we had some girls bands here too but today it's not so strong. Some years ago I had the desire to go to Seatle, because of grunge I guess, lol. Great girls band came from there, and from Portland we have the riot grrrls like Bikini Kill and the queer bands, and Fugazi... correct me if I'm wrong. I still prefer Seattle I guess, lol. But how is today? Is the lesbian scene so strong as was told to me it was?

Umm... lovers is great in general. Love love love lovers. "Take Good Care" and "An Army of Lovers Cannot Fail" are really good songs of off their latest "Sleep With Heat." "The Gutter and the Garden" is an awesome album, specific songs, "The Garden." Umm... god, you really just need to hear everything. She's got a new album coming out soon, too, but from what I've heard, it's a new sound. Carissa's Wierd--listen to "Drunk with the Only Saints I Know," and I think you'll be sold. But overall, their whole repertoire is good, too. Any recs for me?

Lol!! They're great. So, can you tell their voices apart?? Because when they barely started [or when I just started listening] I couldn't tell who was who. But idk, I'm weird. Anyhoo, there are plenty of podcasts. And if you listen to all of them, then you will probably understand most of the inside jokes they share with us listeners. Its great!

Oh, Kelka isn't a band. They're podcasters. KC and Elka. They're a lesbian couple talking about the show The L Word. And Oh My Gawdd! they are soo funny. If you search Elka and KC or The L Word on iTunes, they will show up. Its a picture of a planet with a giant pink L on it. Hope you listen! :D
