I think you might like Lancey Foux. His sound was bitten by Carti on WLR and he's honestly better than Carti in the first place. Lancey's old stuff sucks but he improves considerably from 2018 onwards. LIFE IN HELL is a great place to start.

The rebirth film is honestly really nice, I am also a codependent person and the amount of symbolism that's in it is beautiful to me. Also, there are a few music videos available for rebirth that provide more background to the film (best friend only, god level, fly enough to be virgil). Some of the shots from the film are from these, such as the club scene and glass box being in god level, the bedroom and field being in BFO, and the diner and party being from FETBV. The lyrics also play a huge part in the film and the clear amount of love and attention put into the film is great. While MOW3 doesn't have a film, it has the story told through music videos and there's a few shorts featuring donny and rag3 kidd which gives it a lot of personality in my opinion (which is part of why it's my favorite). After you're done listening to his albums, I recommend listening to some of his singles such as zombieland, all i know, and poison. also be sure to check out sacred heart 1 <3 ^_^

I checked out SACRED HEART 1. I really enjoyed a lot of the songs. It was a pleasant listen. I feel like Don's biggest flaw is the bloated nature of his albums, but there's something for everyone in these songs as you've said. I also love the imagery and symbolism of the film. I'll be sure to check out the music videos :))

Yeah I agree with the bloat, for me MOW3 feels a bit bloated with the 22 songs but I still do enjoy them despite that, SH1 and SH2 seems a bit more forgivable though since the albums are basically compilations of songs that fans wanted (he shares a lot of snippets so this is a big thing in the dc community), but I do feel like the albums feel that way sometimss. I also feel like sometimes his songs are too short but with rebirth its gotten better imo, the last song on the album is 6 minutes long which is his longest song so far so I hope that trend continues. I'm glad you're enjoying his music :) <3
