to be quite honest they wern't that good. i had no idea daryl had started drinking again and it's obviously had an effect on his performance. how were they in manchester? didn't manage to get to wembley but my mate did, said they put on a decent show and to his surprise did a really good set full of songs from every album. quite gutted i couldn't get down.

indeed! looking at your taste theres a couple of bands i reckon you'd quite enjoy. 1) Dananananaykroyd : scottish indie post-hardcore in a happy smiley way 2) Manchester Orchestra: brand new-esque dark country indie rock...good shit!

nah not toured here in a while but they played a few single shows. think they headlined giveitaname in 06. i saw em in brixton for a one of headline show, was called the 777 gig. was the first time they played new material and it really blew me away. youtube the song "you think you're (john fucking lennon)" if you havnt heard it already. really aggressive!

the br&new gig all depends on if my mates girlfriend wants to go or not, she hates daisy though so i reckon i'll be off =] deffo off to glassjaw in manc. you ever seen em before? awesome band live!

off to see br&new at wembley? glassjaw are support! they have a few shows of their own around january too.

i went to latitude last year, had drastically bad sound bleed. comedy was good and then Interpol rescued it all. theres no rumours about that yet, i guess hippies arent into guessing... blur will probably play, they seem to playing anywhere someones put up a tent... making my Hyde Park tickets seem all the drearier. i've literally stolen your wall thing. sorry.

well last year i went to Oxegen, which had a dream line-up was a lovely place and got voted the best festival in europe at the awards thingys... so that has quite a draw. I've been to every V festival for 5 years, also tempting. Reading interests me because of NIN rumours, maybe even Glasto for Depeche Mode.... there is just too many!!

its hard to admit but were korn, marilyn manson, prodigy and pendulum and of course L.I.M.P to play the same day i'd be grotesquely tempted by a day ticket... it'd be like an orgy of guilty pleasures

absolutely. although DMX, Limp Bizkit and The Vichy Government are coming dangerously close to sullying it... any festival recommendations? i'm split.
