You know it. It's not as Black Metal or oppressive as press releases would have you believe (with the exception of the first half of Drilling the Spire, which is awesome none the less). It seemed like one logical path to take from TA. Like with all his stuff after Some People Fall, I'm going to recommend highly that you give it a listen.

For that kind of noisy black metal, I'd still say Nekrasov. Their 08 album is their best, IMO.

That Nortt record is great. Every time I listen to it I end up feeling drained as used up. It the best possible way, that is. I'd also recommend checking out Caina and "Cult of Ruins" by Menace Ruine, if you haven't already. And Nekrasov.

Yeah, the only real resemblance is the vocals, and the fact they're both from sweden. And the 'suicidal' thing, but that label has been reeking of bullshit for a while now...

I personally think that that one's their best, but Erotik has it's moments. I'd also recommend checking out V by Shining if you like Lifelover, that record is a fucking monster.
