Ho well, thank (sorry, I never seen your comment on my profil). I think The Boo Radleys is a very underrated band like many English bands of this time (especialy in the shoegaze scene). Giant Steps is one of the best releases of the 90s. As good as the best Beatles album ;)

Quick random thought : The Wannadies are like a blend between Superchunk and The Boo Radleys..

Yeah, I am kinda just kidding around with you. How do you Turku-ers call it? Yanking your rope? I do believe there are a lot of albums worth listening to from start to finish though. You do have many. : )

Honestly, with Mac McCaughan's album, I wasn't expecting much, but he really delivers on most of the album here. I got kind of burned out on his voice and Superchunk in general.

Breathe in the full album and artist for what it is and what the band is doing as a whole. You aren't part of the iTunes Generation. You aren't paying 99 cents per song... There are a whole lot of good dream pop and shoegaze albums out there that you can just listen to and just phaze out on. Real dreamy like, Man, for realz.

Like why have random tracks thrown at you on your cell phone, rather than -picking- your own music that you really want to listen to within the moment? : ) hmmm?

Listened to some Death Grips, cool! Do you make playlists or do you just random your tracks? Just curious, I notice a lot of the time, you play a lot of different artists, a nice variety. Personally, I think most of the time I prefer listening to albums all the way through, or I choose the album's best songs, and go from there (like with Motorpsycho: Blissard etc...) but YOUR way interests me... : )

Well, I never did get a Stereo Receiver, but I will eventually. Still using some computer speakers with a mini sub woofer, and my phono-preamp which still sounds really good!

Someday, in the near future, my Top 3 charted bands here on LastFM are going to be 1. The Boo Radleys 2. Dinosaur Jr. 3. The Beatles. : )

You know that Gorkies song, "Lladd Eich Gwraig" ? Where they are like "Kill All Americans, kill all Americans..." - are they like for real? Do they really want all Americans (gulp) ... dead? ; )

Sorry to flood out your email / shoutbox!! ...but, I may hold off on 'Kingsize' at 70 and get that 'Learning to Walk' at about $31. 'Wake Up!' will most likely be re-issued next year, then voila! : )

I saw Wake Up! recently on e-bay for like $21, but the outer sleeve was a bit stained. I don't know, if it was like new I would definitely bite. I may pay up to $40 for a New or Like-New copy. 'Kingsize' I would pay at least $50 for, but considering how rare it seems, I may be willing to pay more for it, that is if I ever see one listed OR better yet, if it ever gets re-issued. : )

Just cos I don't know what the heck a band is saying does not mean that I don't appreciate or like their music, Man! : ) The Gorkies are on me charts (and charted rather quickly), aren't they? : )
