Hello. :) I had a lovely Easter, thanks. The weather has been amazing here and I also went to Rome for a few days with my grandparents which was great. It was really nice to see my family too. I'm back at uni now though and attempting to revise for impending exams but the internet is so distracting! How're you, and how's your job going?

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. Haha, well I am also a geek! :) Your job sounds great, I'm fascinated by computers for all the same reasons that I'm fascinated by cells... I suppose really cells are very much like biological computers. :) I always wish I knew more about things like that but there is never enough time to learn all these things. Maybe you could teach me. It's a shame about your work place, but great that you can listen to your music whilst working! Yeah, I'm hoping to go into something lab based like research or forensics. I'm sort of leaning towards a career in forensics at them moment though as I don't think I'm smart enough to do research, and it's probably something that I'd find more interesting anyway. Ah, thanks. I very rarely use pictures of myself anywhere, but this is an ok photo. :)

Hello again, I was beginning to wonder where you'd got to! :) Don't worry about it, it's not a problem. I'm only in my second year at university and already I'm busy so I can imagine it must be even more difficult graduating and getting a job. Congratulations on finishing your studies, by the way! Your job sounds really interesting, what sort of things does it involve? Well, my degree involves learning a lot about cells, how the DNA is replicated, repaired, regulated, made into proteins etc. And then the protein structures and their functions in the cell, how the proteins are transported to different cell components and how they all interact together. It's basically learning a lot about mechanisms and generally 'how things work' in cells and in whole organisms. We also spend 6 hours each week in the lab learning new lab techniques and doing experiments. It's interesting, but difficult. Thanks for your shout, it's really nice to chat to you again. :) Hope you're having a great week too!

Yeah, I see what you mean about the garage rock sound. The singer from Forget Cassettes used to be in another band called Fair Verona which are really good too, but they're more indie rock. There are some links on their last.fm page where their tracks are available as free downloads if you want to have a listen. :) Oh wow, you're a scientist too? (I'm in my second year of a genetics degree) What subject are you studying? I hope it's going well. We do have diplomas in the UK but they sound like very different qualifications to the ones in Germany. Thanks, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas too and a great new year. x

Haha, it didn't quite kill me, luckily T&S kept me going! I was thinking of you the other day actually, I've been listening a lot to a band called Forget Cassettes recently. They're really good and I thought you'd probably like them, their album 'Salt' is on Spotify. You should give it a listen. :) Have you heard any good new music recently?

I love 'Feel It In My Bones' too, everything T & S do seems to be brilliant no matter what style of music it is! I haven't heard the Tiesto version of 'Back In Your Head' before but I'm listening to it now and it sounds pretty cool. I love the Northshore video too! It's a lot more upbeat and exciting compared to the other videos and it's cool to see them rocking out for a change! I love the bit where they're playing air guitar. :) I know what you mean about the other ones for the Sainthood singles, the Hell video is really strange... I've not heard any news about them recording a new album, but I really hope they are. I'll keep a look out for any more info about it. :)

I've had a listen to some of Ludovico Einaudi's music which I really liked, and also I love Pachelbel's canon but I never knew who'd composed it, so thank you for that! :) Ah, I know. It's a shame T & S aren't around Europe more often, but I guess this way it makes it even more exciting when they do play somewhere nearby! What do you think of the song they've done with Tiesto ('Feel It In My Bones')?

Thanks. :) I've only just started listening to classical music actually, it's something I've always thought I'd like but never really knew where to start with it all. Maybe you could recommend some good composers? I've seen T & S once, last month in London. They were brilliant! I'd love to see them again sometime but I don't think they come to the UK very often. Have you seen them live before? x
