have you listened to rjd2 at all? pretty similar to dj shadow at times. i really like his first two albums (dead ringer and since we last spoke). he's got a new project called Icebird, which has vocals but it's pretty good too. otherwise, i'm not sure if they're really trip hop or not, but maybe Amon Tobin, Prefuse 73, UNKLE, or Holy Fuck?

i haven't tried it. i'm lucky/unlucky and don't have a very discerning ear when it comes to sound quality, so in my happy little world itunes sounds ok.

you liking spotify? i've been giving mog a test drive for the past week and i do think their library is more complete.

spotify is great! i was so impressed i shelled out for the premium so i can stream it from my phone. they don't have everything, but they've got a lot.

hey dude...i had a friend in college who liked particle a lot, so i've heard 'em quite a bit. i do indeed like their sound, i'll have to check that album out. i'm totally jealous you're going to see radiohead. i still don't know if i'll get to see them when they play seattle...depends on the date.

glad you liked the pics! i don't shoot that much any more, but still bring the cam with wherever i go and shoot if i see somthing.

my first aphex twin purchase was 'Richard D. James' and is probably my personal favorite. it is definitely more 'out there' than some other ones, but is cool. otherwise, 'selected ambient works vol. 2' or 'i care because you do' are both good starters, that might be a little more instantly gratifying.
