Its a quick joke when Dr. Evil's first talking about the laser I think, he said he's naming it after the Professor who invented it, Alan Parsons, so it will be called The Alan Parsons Project, and his son starts laughing. Its one of those jokes where he names something after a thing that happened while he was frozen, sort of how he names the two moon bases Moon Unit Alpha and Moon Unit Zappa, the second being named after Frank Zappa's daughter. Just a joke I always remembered and made me want to check them out.

Haha, I know, I'm really liking good ol' Mr. Parson's. Who knew that watching Austin Powers II would bear such delicious fruit. I dunno man, I'm a huge fan of Gordian Knot, I could listen to the second album all the time. Though usually when its on here I'm listening to it in the background while doing else, which makes me less crazy somewhat. But Some Brighter Thing and Singing Deep Mountain, try those at least, there's a ton of interesting stuff in that.

Ha yes, those are the two songs I'm addicted to at the moment. Anubis Gate just has such a sci-fi feel to their songs, it's so awesome. Also, I've never heard or heard of Arctopus. :/

I think Chopin's counterpart in Metal are Dream Theater. Liszt is more technical and progressive, like our Architects. Damn, I love music.

Ahhh my favorite albums would be...BG's Nightfall in Middle Earth, Opeth's Still Life, umm In Search Of Truth, Enemies Of Reality, Maiden's Piece Of Mind...Follow The Reaper, SYL's City, and of course Master Of Puppets. For favorite musicians..hmm definitely Jeff Loomis, Alexi Laiho, Barlow, Englund, Hansi, Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, and Rusty Cooley.

Symphony X, Dream Theater, and such. But I like all genres of metal aside from hardcore and stuff like that. Black, death, symphonic, operatic (Nightwish!) power, speed, thrash, haha it's all good. Also, do you have AIM or MSN or anything like that? Always glad to make a new metal friend. \m/

For me, Iron Maiden is and will always be my favorite band haha. Evergrey comes second, and after that I like Children Of Bodom, Nevermore, Blind Guardian, IE, and DForce. And as a guitarist, I love pretty much anything progressive.

Hmmm I don't think they've been through my state yet. But Matt Barlow is probably my second favorite vocalist, behind Tom. As for favorite songs, I'd have to go with The Hunter or A Question Of Heaven. Ripper ias a good singer, but I just can't get used to him in Iced Earth haha. How about you?

Ahhh a friend of mine saw them on that tour when they passed through South Carolina (Myrtle Beach). Sadly I didn't get to. As for my favorite song, it'd have to be As I Lie Here Bleeding or Mark Of The Triangle. That part in the middle where the keyboards go off alone and then Tom's beautifully melodic solo comes in gives me chills every time, haha. He's the man. Powerful voice, and guitar skills.

Yep, I agree. Some of Priest's songs don't do much for me either, but then again I could say the same for some Maiden songs. Meh, they're both great... I just need to see Priest live. That will be heavenly.
