Thanks for the info, looking forward to diving further into their discog! Ahh, sounds like you’re pretty well-positioned in that regard then. I don’t believe they’ve ever come to Australia for gigs so hopefully they’ll come out here and at the very least start that farm. I adore Beat Happening though I think I’m going to have to re-visit Halo Benders as I never got into them in a big way (strange since they’re part BH and part the very awesome BTS).

And I love your recognition of the BT profile pic! And I love all your Attic Abasement plays. They’re such a good band that so few people seem to have heard of. Dancing is Depressing is such a terrific record. Haven’t listened to Swim Through the Dirt, though. Any idea where I could find it?

Oh hell yeah im digging it, idk i get really excited when something new from them is released. I thought it was a great instrumental album that really shows off zach's and andy's talent. I don't really care about what people say about it

i'm generally not one to criticize a band for changing their style up. however, it really feels like they took a major step back, as if the album could be a prequel to their earlier material tbh. i just feel like i'm listening to a band who hasn't entirely discovered their sound, or the extent in which they can experiment with their vocal range (yikes.) it's not a bad album, it's just not particularly thrilling by dads' standards. still hyped as fuck for the concert tho.

I'll be sure to check it out man, I never wear my Unknown Pleasures shirt outside anymore thanks to the internet lol. But yeah Joy Division was one of the first bands to get me to check out new music, so they will always have a place in my heart <3

Real good. I think the main issue the other albums had were their length. They always seemed so long and tiresome. This one is about 45 minutes and is smooth other than a little clunkiness between track two and three. Check it out. I'm now onto the new Wo Fat album and first song is damn impressive.

I tried listening to Fuzz a year or so back and made the mistake of watching live footage. Great music but so many Ty fan girls. It was so obvious they didn't care for the music, only him and that's disgusting to me. You hear these guys? Could be debut album of the year year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RET5bdAYUuQ

I haven't listened to the album that you are but from what I've heard it has Wednesday type feel but a bit more twisted and the vocal delivery reminds me of Misfits. Call em what you will either way they're pretty cool. Guess recently someone killed somebody or something and blamed the band for the idea to do so.
