Hey, how are things? You study jazz right? I'm looking for some jazz violinists to listen to. Something more recent than Grapelli. Can be a little swingy and can be just standards played well. I'm listening to Joe Venuti right now pretty much by accident and I realized I needed more.

I'm going to see Sol Gabetta playing Dvořák cello concerto + Penderecki Victims of hiroshima and Shostakovich 5 - TONIGHT!! Thoughts. Also, I left UM, we can discuss shit here if you want to.

I'm on a roll man. First Mahler Gesellen lieder with Quasthoff / Boulez, then Shostakovich piano and violin concerto w/ Argerich and Hahn and now Beethoven 7 with Dudamel. My favorite violin concerto are Tchaikovsky Sibelius Shostakovich 1. Nothing can beat those. Ugh, thanks for listening.

Not really too much at the moment. I was in Milton Babbitt land for a little while there, and it's hard to come back lol Have you heard Schoenberg's Serenade? It's not a "Serenade" so to speak, but it is a very "playful" side of Schoenberg. Plus, the mandolin and guitar parts in it are pretty sweet.

Hey man, it's Black Orifice from UM. I just got back onto last.fm and got your friend request. This should be an excellent resource for us to exchange some classical masterpieces.

Fontane di Roma.

What about Respighi man? Is that up your alley?

AAAAHHHHHH HARRY POTTER. Twinz <3

HANS ZIMMER IS A GENIUS. He's my idol. Sorry, just thought I'd throw that out there.
