Oh man, I remember in Jr. High my favorite band was Green Day, I could not wait for their new album after American Idiot.

yeah, my parents listened to a lot of grunge when I was growing up, and in turn, I can't stand bands like Pearl Jam, well, any bands that sound like eddie vedder of pearl jam, his voice bugs the hell outta me

Maybe my parents ruined it for me, my mom used to listen to it all the time. who knows. There are a handful of groups I do like though, like Joy Division too. although, that was like very early 80's

heh, the main thing I can stand about 80's synthpop is the way the guys sound, they all sound the same, and sound like they would look like someone that has long blonde curly hair and an ear piercing, if that makes sense haha

I wish I could live through the 60's, 70's, and 90's (again) I don't care for a lot music from the 80's except for the punk movement, and stuff like pixies, but I don't like 80's pop much, specially the synth stuff, except Duran Duran (guilty pleasure)

it's crazy to think that most people that listened to it back then are in their thirties now. dat sounds wonderful though.

yep. I felt that way about Andrew Jackson Jihad too. I first heard them when i found their cover of Two Headed Boy, and i listened to it and was like "Why can't this guy sing?" but I love them now.

pretty much. I've become pretty attracted to unsual vocals, and tend to love them more than just normal vocals.

I remember the first song i heard by him was Panda. I think I had just turned 17 and heard it on a skate video. I remember thinking "man, his voice is awful"

hahaha, not necessarily. If you're not one for cold weather, it can be quite the ordeal to go outside to do anything.

I actually don't think I've gone sledding since that time. I want to, but there aren't really good hills down here. I used to live in northwest NJ and there were tons of fun but safe sledding areas. :}

It was quite fun, but not as fun and dangerous as my brilliant idea a few years ago to go sledding down the dropoff behind our house which leads straight into woods. Fun while it lasted, but ended in an ambulance.

It was actually all ice by the time I woke up, but if I take my glasses off it looks like regular snow. my sister and I played baseball/tennis using ice chunks as the ball and a dustpan as the bat.
