It was! It was surreal being surrounded by so many rabid fans. I'm used to people being unfamiliar with and/or just not caring about these songs which have pretty much become embedded into my consciousness. Toby sang like 6 or 7 songs. Greg Demos was a wild man handed a bass. Bob was the same Bob I'd seen in videos from the 90s, everlasting big kicks and all. They were all great. Did I mention that Tobin Sprout sang like 6 songs?! Including "Dodging Invisible Rays!"

Yeah I would imagine it's lots of country music and that sort of thing up there? Jacksonville is pretty rednecky as I understand it. I have no idea what kind of stuff they play down here... I should get out more.

yup pretty much the same. Pitchfork has angered me with some of its reviews but it still has some good stuff on there. Are you into live music much? I don't get out much besides the occasional big concert, but i'm guessing jacksonville has a more thriving music scene than orlando.

Yeah i was gonna say... you'd need to be spending a lot of money to actually have purchased all that random stuff. I'm the same way, I do buy some stuff I really like though. Where do you hear about different stuff? This website and the internet or your friends?I don't know too many people who listen to the same stuff as me, so i'm pretty much left to find stuff myself on the web. And about neil young, i was pretty much the same way. I'm not really sure what finally got me into him, i guess when i started listening to more country-ish stuff i got into him at all. I still don't love his voice either, but he has some pretty good music.

Pretty great. They're an excellent live band, It was worth the trip. You definitely listen to a wide variety of stuff, i haven't heard of a lot of it.
