Cieszy mnie bardzo widok Type O Negative na miejscu pierwszym w zestawieniu ulubionych wykonawców. Ba! Pozostali wykonawcy na liście też bardzo przeze mnie lubiani więc nie pozostaje mi nic innego jak pochwalić twój gust muzyczny. Oraz pozdrowić "negatywną" fankę. Think Positive, Stay Negative. ; )

Problemy może stwarzać tylko małe skaczące coś, a co do 2 typu to nie oceniaj książki po okładce, bo się możesz bardzo zdziwić. Z bloodthirst taki bm jak ze mnie blondyn, czyli jakieś tam przebłyski są niby. w internetach nie ma miejsca na językowe prawidłowości...

"dead again" does wrap up their career nicely and your right that it has songs from nearly every era of his songwriting from Carnivore up TON. I'd have liked one more record out of them, I heard he was going to write in new guitar tunings to get some unique ideas and that would have been great I bet. They may have put out albums every 3-5 years but when they did it was all full of quality songs. Yes, in the states we do get spoiled with concerts / record stores, etc... being easy to get to. They are expensive though, but for me that is something worth spending the money on. A fan wrote a biography and apparently got Peter's family's blessing on it but the rest of the band refused to be interviewed for it, which surprises me. What I always liked was that the guys in the band were all best friends for years even before the band, groups who have that kind of partnership write much better material in my opinion.

I bet Eastern Europe gets skipped by a lot of groups who tour more often in the western countries I'm sure. We do get a nice amount of concerts where I live, sometimes I have to drive 4-5 hours to a show but it's always worth it. No I never got to talk to anybody in the band sadly. Venues in the states are pretty uptight about fans going to see the bands. I can see how you'd think "dead again" was a farewell record, looking at it after he passed away it does come off that way, but beforehand I didn't think that. I bought it the day it came out and played it non-stop for weeks. Wonderful end night to his career. There are not a lot of groups where you can say they never had a bad record, or in my opinion song to be honest. There are a few that are not my favorite, but I still think they are well done. I hope to get that biography that is being written about him, even if it's not 100% official.

Oh the gig where he was wearing the leprechaun looking hat? Yeah, that wasn't their best hehe. I caught them several times over the years. The first at Ozzfest 97, which I was pretty young so I don't remember too much from it other than trying to look cool haha. Next time they were with Cradle of Filth during their "life is killing me" tour, then I was lucky to see them three times during the "dead again" tour, two different solo shows with varied set lists which was awesome since they were only a few months apart, and then during a dual headlining tour. Sadly I never heard them play "everything dies" live, which is one of my favorites but I did get to hear some fan favorites that were unexpected. I've heard mixed reviews about them live, depends how Peter was that day, but the gigs I saw he was always in a great mood and a ton of fun. Great memories, sad there will never be anymore. I was always hoping for a Carnivore tour and new record. He went far to young, only 48!

I got "eternity", I think it's from the late 90s. Been meaning to try out some other of their albums. No idea why the messing won't work, but just type any Type O stuff in my shoutbox! I'm always up for a conversation about them, especially this time of year!

I don't have either of those, I'll add them to my list. And nope, I didn't get anything.

I think learned two Polish words from my grandmother and that's about it hehe. Yes I was lucky enough to catch Type O five or six times over about a ten year span from the late 90s to the dead again tours in 2007-8. I agree that Woods of Ypres' vocalist David Gold does have an incredible voice, such a shame he was taken only when he really began to hit his stride as a songwriter. I think he would have gone on to become quite a legend. As for TON, I first fell in love with Bloody Kisses and went from there. I think each record is perfect as is and listening to them in the Autumn season makes it even more enjoyable! I also collect old TON shirts and have the majority of their cool old ones, it's amazing how expensive they are these days.

Yeah my Mother's family is all from Poland. And I am a huge Type O fan, saw them several times over the years. Did you ever get a chance to see them? Nice to see you like Woods of Ypres too, some of their songs like "I was buried in mount pleasant cemetery" is very Type O-ish. Shame their main guy was killed in a car accident a few years ago, he was very talented. Thanks again for the add, and if I had to pick a favorite record of Type O's I may go with "life is killing me".

Sisters of Mercy kojarzę troszkę, ale nie wiedziałem że ta piosenka w oryginale jest ich. Dotąd kojarzyłem ją w wykonaniu Cradle of Filth ;)

I wyszło na jaw moje nieogarnięcie w kwestii czytania ze zrozumieniem :P. Swoją drogą utwory które podałaś ostatnio, a których nie miałem ostatnio możliwości przesłuchać są naprawdę interesujące ;p. Szczególnie Bonedust oraz Sui Generis Umbra - rzeczywiście dość schizowe :D

W przypadku wokalu Baroness muszę się jednak zgodzić co do wokalu. Nie zachwyca specjalnie, choć na yellow & green zdaje się jest już z nim troszkę lepiej :).

No troszkę szkoda, że Baroness Cię nie porwał ;p. Troszkę dziwi mnie uznanie ich gry za zachowawczą :p. Generalnie ja zachwyciłem się ich twórczością od pierwszych dźwięków już parę lat temu. O zarzuceniu DEP braku ducha już sam nie wiem co powiedzieć ;D. Poza tym że jestem całkowicie odmiennego zdania ;). Ale wiadomo, o gustach się nie dyskutuje. Zresztą w sumie z początku też mnie nie przekonywała ich twórczość, sprawiając wrażenie dość chaotycznej ;P.

Tym razem muszę powiedzieć, że udało Ci się mnie zaskoczyć i to w przypadku obu zespołów (; Szczególnie Kyuss ciekawie brzmi, na pewno się im przyjrzę :D. Co do rewanżu, przyznaję że wysoko postawiłaś poprzeczkę :D. Większość zespołów jakie uznałbym za warte polecenia jest już w Twojej bibliotece.
