"Real Hip Hop" only consists of the west coast G-Funk scene and the late 90's east coast Boom Bap scene. What is known by "Trap" is nothing but Electronic Music with questionable real hip hop influence. When people try to argue that artists like Yeat are not real hip hop, while saying that Travis Scott is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake hip hop as Yeat (plus the pretentiousness). Real hip hop sounds HARD, LYRICAL and somewhat AGGRESSIVE. Fake hip hop is ignorant, sleepy and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music. Some examples of REAL HIP HOP are Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac, Denzel Curry (the only real rapper from the trap scene) and Nas. Some examples of FAKE HIP HOP are Playboi Carti, Yeat and Gunna HIP HOP BELONGS TO BOOM BAP NOT TO EDM, IDM, OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC GENRE
