Nice charts....I've been finding a lot of good non-metal from your page which is what I've been looking for lately

Since you listen to Dengue Fever you may also like reading my article on Cambodian music. http://www.laboratoriummuzycznychfuzji.com/2013/06/labopedia-muzyka-kambodzy-panstwa-w.html If you like it you may also click "lubię to" button to like my website (on the right handside of the page). There's a translation tool in the top right corner.

After cranking the album for about a week it's a must buy, apparently Emilie sucks at picking singles.

Hehe, my attendance still isn't guaranteed! But if I can scrape together the money for the ticket + trip, I am TOTALLY there!

Mm, definitely the sea is a constant in the album -- including, obviously, the poem by Toulet. Seems he finds some sort of comfort in the ocean which makes sense because Avignon (where he is from, I think!) is quite close to the shore. :D

After reading your show review, I can assure you that seeing btbam live was a much more pleasurable experience before Colors dropped.

Ok...here's something. Help me understand Dredg. Because seriously...I just don't get it. And a lot of people I know with good taste in music LOVE that band. But I just don't hear it. I think I need a "decoder ring"...you know, coming to a band through the right steps which will then help you go back and make sense of the rest of their catalog? That's what I need with Dredg. Because I sort of feel like I SHOULD like them?

LOVE the new Horrors record. WAY different from their first album...much heavier shoegaze influence, not so much swampy garage/Birthday Party-lite like the first record. Going to see them tonight, actually. Looking forward to it...
