ayyy what kind of genre are you looking for? I made a top 10 list and a few of the more uncommon ones were Calvary (Fallow Field records), Florida Man and Svolder. Calvary is desolate raw&sad post-punk, Florida Man is electronic/noise/post-punk and Svolder is Grand Belial's Key worship. I barely listen to any post-punk at all though. I really loved new Krieg, Nux Vomica and Fistula this year!!

Been really into the new Ooze and Big Zit 7-inches that recently came out, shouldn't be hard to find on some blog somewhere. Oh and check out The Coneheads they sound like a more punk Devo and they do a Talking Heads cover on one of their tapes. You use Soulseek?

Faust recommnedations? All I've heard from them is recommendable. But for starters, the Wumme Years 5 CD box, or any of its ingredients: Faust, So Far, The Faust Tapes, 71 Minutes, and BBC Sessions +. Their fourth album, Faust IV, is perhaps their most renowned, and that could definitely be a way to make acquaintance with the great group. BBC Sessions + is the album that got me completely & immediately hooked.
