I first saw Coheed a few years back when they were touring behind Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, and it was pretty much an insane show, The Blood Brothers opened for them. Yeah I was at Coachella again this year and baked for three days straight to the point I was almost delirious by the night. Lol nice I have never seen Three Days Grace once in my life but it sounds fun

Haha very nice. I caught onto them back when the album "United" had come out, I had heard "Too Young" on a college station and flipped out then forgot about them for years lol. Yeah I normally hate outdoor festivals but their set was still amazing, I saw Muse and Coheed all in the same weekend as well.

Your last played track is pretty much one of my favorites from that album. I got to see them live back in April and they were amazing.

It was a festival :D I always find those to be strange experiences but I'm drawn to them, it was late afternoon but they still managed to leave a deep impression on me. I suppose that's where my strange fascination with "prog" rock stems from, the idea that a lot of those bands wrote albums with a unifying theme or idea always fascinated me, it always seemed like a grand or almost pompous in some way, like the standard "let's put twelve singles together" wasn't good enough, no let's MAKE a statement. I love fun music but I have a soft spot for the albums that leave one mentally and emotionally drained. Lol Flaming LIps are like a kaleidoscopic music party to me. The first album I am trying to sort out, I know there is a unifying emotion running through it, it's figuring out the overall theme that's geting me. Lol Bowie's alter ego "The Thin White Duke" was my favorite.

yeah, at some festival after their first album came out, strange experience. Haha that isn't awful, that's just what you thought at the time :P Hospice is great for what it tried to do and the storyline was creative, im still not sure what the story is for the record before it but its a really good one, holds together even better. I just recently FINALLY dug into their older work, i caught on around Yoshimi and recently went back to clouds taste metallic and other older records and its incredibly insane and fun stuff to listen to. ok thats going a wee bit too far i could only imagine how god awful id look trying to dance like that :P i would have gone gay for 70s era bowie *chuckles*

I really did not care for Interpol until I saw them live years ago and I actually am growing more fond of the Antler's "in the attic of the universe" album as of late. I lost interest in the Flaming Lips when War of The Mystics came out but Embryonic has me foaming at the mouth over them again. Oh I'm laughing with you, I tend to make fun of my own tastes and things like that, it would be a shame to take it so seriously that I would take offence. I blame being very young and getting into The Smiths, from there I got sucked into the Morrissey vacuum, I suppose i appreciate the over dramatic humor in it.
