It's just listed names, no dates or venues, and far from exhaustive. In theory everything since '75; in practice good late 70s and early 80s and very patchy ever after.

Could be, but not only Glastonbury. I saw them - but didn't attend the festival. Can't remember where, but they are in the D's in the book I listed groups I saw, between Department S and The Daintees. Might have been a festival warm-up though.

Decline and Fall was definitely John Perry post-Only Ones. I remember them existing, but not much more. It's mentioned on John Perry wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Perry_(musician)

Yes it is George Orwell (a hero of mine) - how did you know I'd visited your page? Decline and Fall - never heard of them but if you look at John Perry's (Only Ones guitarist) MySpace page talking about the split of the Only Ones in 1981 - "I formed a band to do Glastonbury one more time then drifted off round the Greek islands for a while."

Can't help with Decline & Fall, sorry!

Well I saw John Cooper Clarke a few times back in the day; it seemed like they'd add him on a bunch of RAR gigs and he'd do his thing while they set up the next band. Saw The Only Ones too but not sure about Decline and Fall. Maybe they were just a short lived punk band. Why are you so interested in them? I never even went to a Glastonbury, we used to go to free festivals only! I remember a great one at Ashton Court Bristol where we saw the Pop Group while on 'shrooms! Wild times.....
