Nah, that ain't weird. Lots of people find hospitals a little creepy. Too much white and real sterile. When you're sick you don't want to be reminded of the afterlife too much. I went to ATP last year in the UK and Dean Wareham did the plays Galaxie 500 thing there. Was pretty special, he's still got "that voice".

For today, i recommend Sun Devoured Earth, two particular albums are; End of Hope and Good Memories Are The Hardest to Keep. I have this huge range of music simply because i like a broad range of genres XD I have a lot of ambient/dark ambient, plenty of depressive black metal, and lots of Industrial/Goth, and there's more, just too many to name.

Really, really odd in my opinion. I thought it was amazing. One of the best performances I've witnessed, ever!

Nope, not 21 yet. Not until Feb 23rd. Yes, there is a ton of underage drinking because of it. It's a pretty average thing actually. Parents expect their kids to be around drinking when they go to parties. The underage drinking laws are pretty useless. I'd like to travel too, but I agree with you, it's too expensive. I'm so envious of families that have relations in other countries so they have places to go & stay for extended periods of time. Otherwise, it's impossible to go anywhere. Working is cool. I almost wish I had taken a year off to work & explore myself. But that's not the direction I went. Oh, I'm surprised that there isn't a larger American stereotype. For some reason, we expect them and hear so often that other countries hate us. Maybe it's just the government fueling lies! Stupid gov't. That's cool that you get to go to concerts so often. I'm such a home-body. Where we live is kinda rural.. so it takes a lot of effort to go out. I'll def have to check out your bands.
