Indie/guitar music still has it's place mate,whilst the majority of kids listen to the current chart music a lot of the teenagers tastes in music are very eclectic where as my generation often tied themselves to one genre of music.I have two teenage daughters and their tastes vary from classical to deathcore.I believe music like everything else moves in cycles and guitar music will come again,I can remember it being said in the 80's that electronic music would kill guitar music and it did become more popular firstly via the New Romantics then Rave Music took over at the back end of the 80's but then Oasis led the guitar music revival of the 90's.Nowadays Indie is my main passion and last.fm has helped me get into so many young Indie bands with Editors being the best of the lot in my opinion.Be optimistic my friend Indie/Rock/Alternative will always have it's place
