Update on the scrobble-saga (because I know you're *really* interested ;-) ... Now scrobbling random tracks from iPod when it feels like it. Think I shall just go with the flow.... perhaps the last.fm app doesn't agree with my music choice? Or maybe it's just hormonal, I can empathise with that.... right, will stop taking crap now.

Yeah, it used to pick up my iPod scrobbles but hasn't done that since I started using the new version of iTunes. I read the FAQs and I'm pretty sure it has to be sync-ed now. I know you can sync only specified stuff from your iTunes library if you want to, but I get the impression that it'll always wipe everything off the iPod when syncing and replace it with the new stuff. I can't get a definitive answer to that question though. Will have to keep searching...

Don't think my iPod sync-ing plan will work as I can't rip the Red Dwarf files off it and I don't want to lose them.... any idea if you can sync music only without it wiping the video content?

My iPod's stopped scrobbling since I downloaded the new version of iTunes, so you won't be able to see most of the stuff I'm listening to any more >:(

Haa no. Ticketmaster metroarena is a fuckpile though since you have to go through about 8 pages before it tells you its sold out. I just liked the idea of reclaiming my youth and singing along to ride the lightning. Good times.

It is incredible easy. There is a step by step way of doing it, which should be at the bottom of the main page. Also you use the same log in, which is cool.. You just have to have at least one of your songs as an mp3 - it won't accept wave files. Boo on unemployed and man-flu. I'm just about to have a rest from work, but then it's a 7 day strech, with possible bad phone calls in there. :-(
