Hi Jörg, Arcade Fire is a band I have been meaning to listen to so I it is good to hear that their latest is good. It looks like Demians' Mute was not to your liking. Their sound has a heavier metal edge to it but there are always strong melodies and an intensity that appeals to me. Mute and their debut BUilding an Empire are both fine albums and Mute is currently second to TPT's latest which I have also really enjoyed. Good to talk to you. Cheers Chris

Hi Jörg. Good to hear from you and I had seen that you have listened to a IOEarth as well. Yes I have a guest Spotify account but I am not sure how long I shall be allowed to have it for. There is a lot on Spotify but there is a lot that is not and I would never pay £9.99 a month if they removed guest accounts. I do find it useful to try an album out before I buy it - and not just the 30 seconds that last.fm gives you now. All the best Chris

How are you Joerg? I have acquired the re-mastered Little Man album and been listening for the last couple of weeks. It is a fine album. Yes, The Pineapple Thief supported Riverside in London a few weeks ago. Two of my five favourite bands on the same stage, TPT for an hour and Riverside for two hours. A really special evening. Almost as good as seeing Porcupine Tree a few weeks prior to that. By the way I am not sure what happened to the add - I accepted but you do not appear to have been added? Shall I send a request to you?

Hi Joerg, meine neueste (schöne) Anschaffung ist das limitierte Set von Portisheads "Third". 2 LPs mit 180g(!) + USB-stick (320 kbit) + Kunstdruck über eBay günstig! Hatte ich in Berlin bei Dussmann gesehen (teurer). Wirklich schönes Erlebnis (optisch, akustisch, haptisch)! Hab zum Glück noch im Gästezimmer meine alte Anlage mit "turntable". Welche 2 CDs von Pineapple Thief hast Du denn gekauft? Vielleicht für mich auch neu? MfG Frank

Hi Jörg, jetzt mal persönlicher! Alles Gute für 2009! Wünsche ich Dir persönlich und uns allen in Old Germany! Vor allem auch Hannover 96 und Arminia Bielefeld. War ja zum Glück(?) ein Unentschieden zuletzt. Kann mit der Arminensippschaft inzwischen aber gar nichts mehr anfangen!!! In den 60er jahren waren wir als Jungs beim Training dabei und kamen als Balljungs umsonst auf die Alm. Heutzutage zählt nur noch irgendwelche - wie man inzwischen sieht - obskure Kohle. Hallo Jörg, als Gleichaltriger hatte ich auch zunächst Probleme! Habe die (?) challenge aber gemeistert. Manches ist besser (z.B. sofortige Aktualisierung der Listen), manches ist schlechter (dieses entsetzliche "klickibunti a la vista"). Eigentlich fehlt mir nur die sofortige Übersicht meiner aktuellen Nachbarn auf der Profilseite. Musikalisch habe ich im Moment keine Top-Empfehlung, aber die Empfehlung für eine auch zu Dir passende Musikzeitschrift: "eclipsed". Schau mal rein! Oder schon bekannt? Gruß Frank
