ah man, no problem. Jay Electronica is amazing, particularly the song you're listening to right now (The Pledge). Perhaps the best rap song ever, imo. and damn, your library is pretty great. Trent Reznor should score every movie ever made from now on. And hmm, you would enjoy a producer by the name of Bibio -- his album Ambivalence Avenue is great. Also for hip-hop, i'm sure you would LOVE Nujabes. Japanese jazz/hip-hop producer who just passed away unfortunately, check his album Metaphorical Music out to hear one of the best albums ever, really.

I know exactly what you mean, there are a few sound out tracks for me like "What if we could?" and "Oraculum", oh and also "Immigrant Song" and "Is Your Love Strong Enough?", but the most are really subtle. I'm REALLY excited to see the film. Counting down the days actually... Don't even get me started on tsn score! That thing has literally got me through 3 semesters worth of finals/term papers. It always makes me feel so... productive!

So glad I can to spread the Trent and Atticus love! The Social Network's score was AMAZING and so far I'm loving TGWTDT's as well! And I totally get your geeking out because I was literally counting down the hours till the damn cd was released. Hope you're enjoying it as much as I am!

Oh don't get me wrong, it will be one of the best films of the year, but the Swedish version is basically a mainstream snuff film. There is no way that an American film studio could get away with what they did. And the 'El Camino' review is already in the can and added to the list, but it won't be appearing for quite a while (which would be a good thing).

Yeah, I've been to many concerts but that Lykke Li opening was top-notch, especially for the size of the venue. I was really, really hoping that she would do 'Silent My Song' but she played plenty of other great stuff that I wasn't expecting so it's okay. And thanks for liking the Facebook page! We should be producing at least two more short films next semester. Woody Allen has his moments of both brilliance and mediocracy, it just depends on what film. And I am definitely looking forward to The Girl With The Dragoon Tattoo, but there's no way it will be better than the original Swedish one. If you haven't seen it, definitely check it out.

No, that definitely wasn't me. I was the guy shooting dirty looks at all the a-holes that were talking during First Aid Kit's set. And yeah, she was just incredible, wasn't she!?! And yeah, look at our tastes! I see that you like Karl Pilkington AND 500 Days of Summer as well! And you're going to see Radiohead in March too? That's going to be insane! And if I may shamelessly self-promote for a second: as a music reviewer and film student, my best Albums/Films lists are going to start rolling out pretty soon and I think you will find that I definitely loved many of the same albums that you seemed to.

How are you liking Denver? I live in Boulder. I don't know Denver that well, the only reasons I ever go there are either concerts, plays or to visit the museums. I do enjoy a few certain coffee shops downtown: ink and Backstage Coffee. Here in Boulder I would recommend Pearl St, Cosmos Pizza, The Cup, Underground Hookah Springs the Fox and Mustard's Last Stand. That's all I can think of right now.

haha nah to be perfectly honest, "emo" works just as well as "expressive" and yeah i feel ya. i listen to kperry a lot lately. i respect her, partially just bc it's flatout ridic how quickly she spits out hits but yeah you def have to be in the mood to listen to konstantine, or you just wont appreciate it the way mcmahon deserves. wait until youre feeling nostalgic, a little melancholy, and thoroughly too full of emotion. then give it a listen :) sorry it took so long to respond. ive been out and about visiting friends and cramming my summer full cuz it's the last one i have at home

Oh wow, Bon Iver's new album is fantastic. Beth/Rest is my favorite. It has an unusually dynamic and experimental sound that I wasn't expecting from Justin Vernon. Definitely a success.

haha, yeah, mcmahon's voice is too expressive for my taste, but the piano strung throughout the piece gets me every time, and something about the lyrics and the increasing desperation of the piece. the timing is beautiful

i could not agree more. the only song that affects me more is "konstantine" by something corporate. have you heard that?

Ah, da würde ich dir gerne folgen, nur so, damit ich das erledigt habe. ;) Ja, aber Twitter reicht mir nicht wirklich. Tumblr ist mir wichtiger, dafür investiere ich auch mehr Zeit. :)

I've yet to hear that one! At my job, they usually play a few tracks from the album, and I wonder why it's not in my library yet. :(

I love Until We Bleed! That track made get into Kleerup, and I love with Every Heart Beat with Robyn. I saw Robyn at Coachella this year, and she played it, and I was hoping Kleerup would pop out somewhere. lol

Wow, 4 times seems pretty intense now that you mention it, and I've yet to take a photo with her! I was lucky enough to get Wounded Rhymes autographed by her, but I still have to take a photo with her. I have a friend who's seen her 6 times and took a photo with her, so she beats me! And I'm glad you enjoyed My Drunk Kitchen - it's my favorite youtube channel now, hehe.

So.. have fun and enjoy it! ;) xx
