all of spiderland is like a emotional rollercoaster for me. i love how the tension is built on every single song, especially on washer and good morning, captain, this alone makes the album for me. when it's all calm and pretty, and suddenly turns into a wall of noisy guitars... damn, isn't it breathtaking?

Yes! I know! I love the contrast, the soft/loud dynamic on the whole of Spiderland. And the gloomy and dismal feel it carries is just something I had never heard before and it completely blew my mind.
