Great! When I discovered Last.fm I rapidly became addicted - and I was already maniac about getting my tags right and sorting all my albums in my audio player. Last.fm just worsened my habits :p So maybe you listened to more of John Frusciante's work, like Curtains and The Empyrean? Those are fantastic I think.

That's because I haven't seen much bands live. I saw Gojira, Ulcerate, Black Sabbath, Les Innocents, Soundgarden, Annihilator, Lofofora, Deep Purple, The Australian Pink Floyd and a bit of 3rd-Day Hellfest bands. Gojira was the real deal cause it was in a small room near where I live instead of a wide outside place. The energy was tangible !

Yeah, same for me. Even though seeing Megadteh live nowadays ain't relevant anymore, I'd like to see some classic stuff... Well while Soundgarden was planned it was good for me :p

Of course! Live songs often sound weird when it's a first listening. And with earplugs sound just gets worse, so you'd better recognize them or not enjoy them at all :p

I quite don't know how well you know the band considering your scrobbles, so I'm gonna ignore the popularity of their songs. You have to listen to Entering, Sub Pop Rock City, Swallow My Pride, Beyond The Wheel, Hands All Over, full Badmotorfinger album, full Superunknown album, Cold Bitch, Blow Up The Outside World, Karaoke, Tighter & Tighter, Blind Dogs, Bones Of Birds. If that list is too long, just listen to Jesus Christ Pose, Superunknown (song) and Black Hole Sun.

They were great, and even if Matt wasn't here the drummer was good enough! The vocals were good, softer but good. The setlist was normal, it was great they played Beyond The Wheel and The Day I Tried To Live. But Kim can't play solos anymore, that's the saddest thing about the band I'd say...

I have listened to the Sketches album and I found it very disappointing. But I know the context of the recordings and I'm aware that it didn't please Jeff, but still... I hope you'll have the chance to have a longer Soundgarden-set, because it wasn't really my case :p

You're welcome :) I have the same problem, unless it's because I can't bear standing on my feet for too long during festivals, and when comes the night I get annoyed and tired... That's how I missed Opeth ! :p I realised lately how good was Jeff Buckley's Grace, it's an incredible mood !
