Ulcerate, Akhlys och Deathspell Omega in common is always a marker of decent taste. Cheers!

Hey, writing to mention a couple bands you mat want to check out. First, The Silver, a kinda black metal/atmospheric rock blend (people are calling it "post/black metal" but I don't agree), with members of Horrendous and Crypt Sermon which I know you like, maybe worth a try! The other one is Mi'gauss a recent discovery. Melodic death metal, but quite ferocious. Only released one album in the early 2000s. Reminds me a lot of Intestine Baalism, House of Atreus... stuff like that. Hope all is well over there.

Found a really cool band this weekend Ætheria Conscientia, I think you would be quite interested! Somewhere in the neighbourhood with stuff like Oranssi Pazuzu, Hail Spirit Noir, maybe even A Forest of Stars, Sigh... can't vouch for their debut (haven't heard it yet!) but the other two blew my mind and I can't imagine you wouldn't like to have a listen.

Your scrobble per artist is quite high, and I thought mine was high compared to average last.fm user. The average number is around 20 per artist, yours is above 100. You have unusual listening habits. You are an exceptional person. You are different.

Ehi! I've never think about it :D really! Ehm, maybe EXCEPTIONAL PERSON is a bit too much ahahahaha... but thank you! Anyway, i'm an "album listener", i like to listen to full albums, not single songs - so if i begin to listen to an album, i finish it than eventually i change to another artist/album

Yeah, I mentioned Wayfarer because you were listening to that when I posted the shout. I'm aware of Altars and Thantifaxath (that latest album might be their best yet!) but will get on Vital Spirit, I'm a big fan of that sort of sound. Might be worth trying Crestfallen Dusk if you like the Wayfarer sound, the main guy has a few "black metal meets Americana/blues" projects.

I've gotten acquainted with most of everything so far, Vital Spirit in particular has been my favorite so far, what a pick! Fabricant is something that I need more time with, reminds me of something like Flourishing, and there's not enough of that. I think I had heard Kostnatění before, not sure, but Upal has me very intrigued, have to what else is there from them. Still have to get around to Jay Munly and I heard a few Fossilization tracks, still not much of an impression but it will come. Feel free to bring up more cool stuff in the future, it's always a good time.

I'm glad you like Vital Spirit! They're really "wayferish" - and Wayfarer new album is a good one! I'm listening to it right now. Soft sound, compared to their previous efforts, but i like it very much. Anyway, i admit that i have to check again Heaving Earth, listened to them just one time. Burial also! For more cool stuff, i recommend Vertebra Atlantis, if you don't know them - italian band, from my country. "dissonant death-black metal" but with an original approach and good songwriting. Maybe you can try also Jordablod, if you don't know them, a black metal band with prog/rock influences - so much energy in them! Also Vanum, another good atmo-blackmetal band, but i suspect you know them for sure...

Hey, it's just recommendations, they will always be there when you feel like checking out something new. Listened to new Wayfarer earlier today, still have to listen to it more, but on first impression it seemed easier to listen to, the other albums require a mood for me, this sounded like something I can listen to more often. I greatly enjoy all Wayfarer though. Also, I have heard of Vanum, but have never heard music by Vanum, the rest I've no idea about, haha. Will check, thanks!

Well, lately I've been heavily on Intestine Baalism (melodic death metal, any album's fine, can't go wrong), Vintersea (I think their latest "Woven Into Ashes" is their best, but anything should be fine too), and I recently came across Night Crowned (again, their latest "Hädanfärd" is probably their best one, but they will release "Tales" in November) and finally Sanguine Glacialis, which I came about recently and is super fun. Hopefully there's at least one of these you like! Feel free to recommend as well, I'm always on the lookout. Also, can't wait for new Wayfarer, great band.

Hey there! Thanks for the follow. You have a great collection here. Be sure to check Ad Nauseam's Imperative Imperceptible Impulse, if you haven't already. It proved to be a challenging, yet completely rewarding experience. Extreme metal is on the rise and that makes me happy! \m/

Yep. And the long compositions don't make it easier to get a firm grasp of it. Nevertheless it's totally worth the time investment. Along with last year's Imperial Triumphant's Alphaville, which treads in some of the same paths (tighter concept and more jazzy feel there), they're my latest favourite discoveries in extreme metal. Greetings from across the Ionian Sea!

Mmm, Imperial Triumphant are hard to digest... i don't get them, really. I don't understand their music. Alphaville is an interesting one, but maybe i have to listen it a couple more times... A good extreme-metal suggestion i have for you it's "For the glory of your redeemer", album by Misotheist

I understand. Even I, who consider myself to be quite initiated in the ways of avant-garde music, couldn't get them just from the first listens. Still, their music tickled me in a way, telling me to be patient until my poor brain can deconstruct what my ears cannot. It helped when I delved into the lyrics too. Now, I consider it the best album of 2020. Misotheist was awesome btw. Reminded me of Panzerfaust a little bit.

I'm trying to listen Alphaville right now, for the 3d time in total, if i remember well. I also consider myself "quite initiated" in the ways of avant-garde music... or just... strange music? Pyrrhon, for example, i love them, they're really weird... but not weird like Imperial Triumphant ahahah

Absolutely man. Just saw it for the first time recently and was left completely speechless. It really is a visceral and agonizing experience. The acting is one of the best I've ever seen, and to be honest it's probably my favorite Russian film now even compared to tarkovsky works

Nice sound. I haven't listened to a lot like it, I would call it "progressive metal/prog rock". The cello playing is great!

Ehi there! High quality on their last one, as always. Ulcerate is constant, and that's it. I think the album it's equilibrated and addicting. It's their more direct and more melodic album, but without sacrificing the heavy and technical elements. It's like they have expanded the melodic moments of previous album, creating also catchy-riffs that stays with you for long time. And that's it, i hope is clear, sorry for my bad english
