If you liked their previous You Will Not Survive album, then you will like this even more in my opinion. After The Light is just one of TSL's genius, genius work, both lyric-wise and music technicality-wise. Give a go. :) And thanks again for the kind compliment. :)

Haha, I'll be studying Natural Sciences (Physics, essentially) at UCL. And the shows in London are definitely an advantage to live there although I'm having to pay out my arse for accommodation! I had no idea Brand New were touring the UK however, thanks for the heads up! There are two London shows, looks like I'm spoilt for choice. I'll probably see about buying tickets once I've moved in and figured out where the venue is. How do you find out about these shows so soon? It was the same with GY!BE, which I greatly appreciate.

Gaz! I've been doing mighty fine thank you, heading off to London for uni in just over a week, how've you been? And I actually vacated sputnik a while ago. I just wasn't feeling it anymore and a lot of my favourite users quit posting (or only posted incredibly sporadically) so I just stopped. I'll probably come back to see the end of the year lists though just to check if I've missed anything worth listening to though.

Ah nice, im yet to see them but just ordered tix for London so its all good! So so so excited. Ah bet it was sweet, the only reason I didn't go is cos I was at hevy that morning where I'd seen em both, and was so tired from the fest. I saw them at both at Fluff Fest in Czech last month too, that was incredible. TA are just such an intense live band!

Ah fair play, the bimm course is amazing if you're serious about it, loads of people dont take it seriously and it doesnt really work, but yeah its so much fun regardless. Well one of the bands i joined is called sanity valve, they're on last.fm somewhere. the others is a 50's function band so thats just for money and the other is like a sort of deerhoof/65daysofstatic kind of thing, will let you know man, also if you get anything recorded post it me in a comment!

had to save like a bitch for it ahah. we didnt get halls, decided to get a place of our own so its ours pretty soon, really good location but its taken up like my entire student loan ahah.

Ah well if there's nothing huge on at the same time i would have to go. I managed to pick up a hartke head and GK cab for about £560 which is a bargain, thats off thomann.com. Then a spector legend 5 string, sorted now! The flat were getting is ours from august so i have almost 2 months to get a job, need to get on it before september and beat all the other students aha.
