On the plus side I managed to sell my ticket so I saved a few £'s and someone else got to enjoy them. I'd rather have gone to the gig but c'est la vie... In better news I have a pretty stacked month for shows including a trip down to London to see Melody's Echo Chamber for the first time on Wednesday. I'm totally going to be that guy in his 70's still maintaining my stats on last.fm! Only 27 years to go haha!

good to hear that it wasn’t entirely fruitless! i’ve heard that name around a couple of times so i guess it’s time to add her to my to-listen list. 👀 i hope to have a stacked show month in April but it’s hard considering i’ve got no gig-going friends. who knows? :P literally can’t wait for my account to be passed down like a family heirloom or whatever for centuries & centuries to come… now to only hope that this website will last for centuries & centuries. (year 2223 sounds absolutely insane)

Haha! Might have to have mine mothballed so future generations don't unearth all of the questionable Britpop I've scrobbled in the errr past. I have a similar lack of gig going pals which is a pain but it doesn't normally stop me.

ooh, correct me if i’m wrong but was that the show that almost got snowed out? if so that must have been a really unique experience. and you got to meet them?? that’s so sweet of sam omg. sounds like you had a really fantastic time i’m happy for you! my show is next monday and i’m still really worried it’ll end up being rescheduled again/cancelled bc i’ve had awful luck with that lately, so fingers crossed it goes as planned! i’ll be sure to let you know how it goes :D

yeah! at the end i guess the staff had opened the doors in the back & snow was like. blowing in. definitely memorable! and totally trippy as i've lived in the desert my whole life LMFAO. :P i think by the time i'm replying to this you'd have already gone to the show - let me know if i'm right. i'm totally terrible with dates. & spill the deets! any tracks you were really exited/surprised to hear? anything that totally rocked your socks off? from what i've read they've just been blowing it out of the water every show they play. if it's the show at third man i happen to know someone else who's going. a very silly coincidence. what legends. sigh!

sorry for replying to this 3 months later lol... the whole show rocked my socks off, there wasn't a dull moment from start to finish. it was some of the most fun i've ever had at a concert!! i was standing right in front of sam and when he used that noise machine thingy his foot was inches from my face lmao. bizarre experience. the setlist was super good too, they played all my fav tracks from the new album, and they played their breeders cover too which rocked :D my absolute faves to hear were birds(!!!!), under a cloud, i never want to see you again, and california. sam was super nice, and i got a pic w janet bc she wasn't busy w merch but i was pretty shy i hope she didn't think i was weird :') i miss keeping up with their tour on instagram but goddamn they deserve a rest after all those nonstop shows!
