so mr l., how great was last night's concert?

haha, well guessed. i'm back in germany (and taking advantage of munich's wide offer of concerts - well, at least as much my bank account allows me to). // yes, it's maximo park's paul smith. the tickets i won simply by sending an email with nothing but "paul smith" as subject to the, well, "venue" where it is taking place. yep. nothing but good luck needed . yay. // "... when they played at my uni..." - i'm really in favour of introducing this (quite famous) bands playing at local unis-thing in germany! when i visited a friend of mine in leeds, the cribs were playing at her uni one week after i left (by the way, on my way from london to leeds, the coach called at sheffield station. i was about to jump off, pop by and say hi ;-) // so, you might be coming to germany? how come? and where about? it doesn't happen to be munich instead of the capital, does it? // x

well, same here. only that instead of three essays i have two translations (an english one and an old spanish one - exciting... not) to hand in. haha, how great that you're going to see them, too. who is supporting them in birmingham? in munich it's a band called "fucked up" and according to lastfm the only thing they and arcade fire have in common are their canadian roots... it's going to be pretty interesting. but, however strange the supporting act might be, it's ARACDE FIRE!! the tickets were about 28 pounds. // yesterday i won 2 tickets for paul smith on monday. this is going to be my first concert afer quite a while... the sunday after i'm going to angus & julia stone and then arcade fire. november turns out to be a pretty good concert-month. xx

Wow sam, four modules - genius? WOOOW that's a lot of work! i have many more subjects but I don't work that much...*lalalala* the subscription to use the library situated on the other campus was too expensive and they decided it was useless to pay considering the fact that only an average of 7% of the students goes there on a regular basis. oh myy Sam, I'm pretty happy, it didn't take you long to realize that philosophy is crap! I had 10/20 at the exam last year, such an achievement! history and sociology are much more interesting and not confusing. philosophers were just lazy assholes anyway. holaaaa! sadly I'm back from Brussels and uni tomorrow booo :( Patrick was really awesome and the venue is amazing, really gutted that the Horrors cancelled the gig there. I'm really tired and I don't know if the words make sense. Oh dear how many texts did I send? ahaha I can't remember. aah I hate this kind of venue too, yesterday at the station we met two girls who were in high school with Marilou and who went to Lille several times and Taous had already seen them and we went to their flat after the gig, and then we went to a kind of club/bar who was like that, ears were bleeding so we went to another bar which is great in Brussels, le café central. oh I blame the alcohol that (still) swims round my brain... how was the gig? I really loooooved them in Reading. ok I'm really hopeless, it was the same link twice but it was supposed to be 'blue skies' and 'love of an orchestra'. their new album is too beautiful, get it! a friend also sent me songs by the xx, they are good too.
