I will ultimately reserve my opinion until I got a proper listen from the album, but thank you for the insight. I do notice them treading into mediocre territory, but I don't not if has to do with their artistic decline or the general decline of quality in most of the production of music today...it's something to think about. The Garbage sound you've mentioned earlier in their career was mostly appropriated from Curve,-- Butch Vig was so entranced but their sound, he actually wanted to produce an album for them, something that Garcia and Halliday respectfully declined. I guess in order to avoid the accusations of cashing in on the 90s nostalgia, they had to update their sound, something I respect, but the innovation incorporated in their debut, has pretty much waned off. And that's unfortunate. I'm going to go listen to "Supervixen" now.

Random question: Being a massive Garbage fan, how do you feel about the new album? I heard the new single only, it seems promising.

I am a very big fan. I think it is a great album. I like the way they have mixed it up a lot compared to Bleed Like Me. Shirley's voice is really strong as well.

they NEVER put on a bad show. they were great! i had a nice rail spot for both nights they played, last week. i got nice videos for those too. i'll send you my "Everlong" clip when I upload it. how's school and everything? p.s. i almost forgot! guess who was at Bryan Ferry's show, sitting near the front??? Clem Burke and his wife/girlfriend! A few people recognized him. I guess he's a regular fanboy himself! :)

i hope if/when you've looked in my library you've found something interesting! erm, it's kind of hard for me to just recommend something... it depends on what kind of stuff you're becoming interested in now? i've recently got into 90's rock but obviously my library doesn't really reflect that as i only own a small amount.. i have been listening to most on youtube! :) so if you were to tell me what sort of band/artist/genre you were interested in finding similar music to i will try and help! :) <3
