hey! this is imavesy, sorry it's taken so long to get back to you! i lost access to that account for some reason and have only just now gotten around to using this one. i'm learning french right now (my school doesn't offer russian, sadly and i have to take a foreign language class). BUT i have discovered french and russian have a surprising number of cognates because apparently the old upper class there often spoke in french, which i thought was pretty neat and convenient haha i hope to take russian in uni but let's see what happens. c: hope you're well over there! thanks for all the help and kind messages

Haha, I'm actually Palestinian, but I have been living in Syria long enough to feel at home. And I appreciate your kind feelings. However, if one views what is going on here morally and emotionally then the obvious is that the regime is a blood thirsty maniac. But, we need to look at this from a subjective and neutral point of view. What I believe is that both parties have issues that needs to be addressed. The unrest and semi-civil war going on here only benefits weapon dealing countries, as well as pulverize the Syrian economy, thus, draining its army's and people's power effectively. I can't really care less about the current regime or it's president, but I wholeheartedly believe there is a hidden agenda the world governments are playing to reconstruct the Middle East to their and Israel's liking. Btw, you wrote you are Syrian, but I guess you meant Russian, lol
