thanks! i'll check that stuff out for sure (i've heard of all the artists but haven't listened to any of em save for a bit of bibio). so after looking at your charts a bit, i came to the conclusion that we really do listen to a lot of the same artists haha. very cool. i would recommend you get a copy of My Brother's Ears/My Sister's Eyes by Psychic Babble (Colin from Circa's side proj). it's phenomenal. i've also really been enjoying going through It is rain in my face.'s discography this year. he's got a few EPs up for [url=http://absentfever.bandcamp.com/album/wishbone]free[/url] [url=http://itrains.bandcamp.com/album/small-prayer-ep]download[/url]. Einar Stray has some really great chamberpop/post-rock stuff going on (the sort that's very popular in scandinavia). Amusement Parks on Fire have the greatest shoegaze sound ever (try their S/T record first). and i was just reminded today of the amazing beauty that is Red House Painters' first LP (Rollercoaster I).

aw geez uhhh actually not a lot of the bands that I listen to a lot or mean something special to me. I've seen fall out boy and p!atd tons of times because they were the most important bands to me in middle/high school but other than that the only other thing that stands out is warped tour because I used to go every year :p and don't even ask me who I saw there because I can't remember unless you list off bands haha!! what shows have YOU been to? :)

Unfortunately, when they were touring in and near my city, I couldn't go; they were playing in venues where I had to be 19 or older...（ つ Д ｀） I do hope they could play together again one day. so i've finished my take on Lisbon, OH, but there's hell to pay mixing and mastering my slightly more ambitious remix of Wash. so i can link you to the former... http://www.indabamusic. com/opportunities/bon-iver-bon-iver-stems-project-lisbon-oh/submissions/127957 and yeah, it was a fun little questionnaire. music is such an integral part of life. wish i could've made a career out of it haha, but i balked at what would've been the personal cost. my friends who do that thing still make me jealous from time to time (although, to be fair, my life is more than worth living), though there are struggles inherent in the music performance lifestyle... i've seen that way too up-close. but yeah, great hobby ;) and i never met Aaron cuz i was at a States show, not a Copeland show. so wish i could've seen Copeland, but i first heard their music only after their demise. but Stephen was cautiously optimistic there may be new Copeland music in the future. no touring, though.. Aaron hates touring :D

hey, well thanks for checking the tunes :) glad you liked them. i'm always working on more. this month is Bon Iver remix month. he has an official contest going on, and while i was hoping to remix his entire latest CD, i just haven't had time. going for 3, though ;) and i'm a CD guy... i have like 250 of them haha. great store in town with a ton of cheap and often obscure used CDs. cheaper than digital by a lot.

for sure! great book and author. and yeah, i either see bands i love on your top 50 or bands whose CDs i haven't gotten around to yet haha. i've got a ridiculous pile of CDs i own and still haven't started listening too cuz the old ones are so classic haha. oh, and i see Hannah by Freelance Whales on your top tracks. i once did a pretty ragtag remix of that for a contest and won a tee and my only vinyl record ever from the band :P
