Are you listening on the Last.fm website? I never actually use it to play music I don't already own, I'm not really sure if you can pick which songs come next...?

I only played for three years starting at age ten, then had to quit. Picked it back up again when I was 17, only for a few months in school orchestra. Then I didn't have an instrument again until a year ago... I'm re-learning it for the third time. Definitely nowhere near composing anything, just play old songs I'd memorized :P And I'm studying art right now, haha. It can be a bit penniless but no more than anything else, really. It has its ups and downs. And I think France just seems like a lovely, interesting place. I always wanted to live in England or Scotland, but French people seem quite unique and creative. My family hosted a French student for two summers and she was wonderful, I'd love to visit her in Paris someday :] And yeah, I can't blame you for not wanting to leave your kids. That would be so tough. My husband is halfway around the world right now, it's really no fun. But you should definitely at least visit the US someday, some parts of it are decent XD

I know what you mean-- I love Yann Tiersen, but I never really made a connection between the two until this album. Violin is my weakness, I got excited when I saw the cello in your photo, haha! I always wanted to play, but I learned violin because it was smaller. Wish I could still play as well as I used to, but instead I just seem to listen to other people XD I'm really glad you like Bonobo, I heard about him from a good friend of mine and it's nice to pass him on to someone else :] (Also, I wish I could live in France, haha! One day...)

Thanks, it keeps my head interesting :] I'd like to read more of him, same with Neruda. Gravity's Rainbow has been eating up all my reading time this term, the greedy thing. We listen to a lot of the same artists, so let's see if I can suggest new things. I'm really into Rio en Medio lately, but it looks like you already listen to her so... I'd suggest April March (think Serge Gainsbourg as a lady), Orenda Fink/Art in Manila (from Azure Ray, I love everything she does), Final Fantasy/Owen Pallett. Headdress is weird but nice low-key psych folk. The new Gorillaz has some good tracks. Dragonette, Ladytron, Miike Snow, and Empire of the Sun are good for electronic/dance. You'd probably like The Sleepy Jackson too :) And I mentioned Bonobo before... seriously. He's amazing.

Haha, you actually went and found them. Yeah, they're okay? Not the worst I've heard, but definitely not the best... (Bonobo's new album, on the other hand? Now that's gorgeous.) I haven't read much Rilke to be honest, I was only just recently introduced to his work. But what I have read, I've enjoyed :]

ach ne musikerin bin ich nich und aus nürnberg komme ich nicht! in münchen hat er mir ein bisschen geleutert inwiefern ich in inspiriere, er meinte das es ihn total glücklich gemacht hat, dass ich meinen spass hatte und es eine art energie-austausch war, und das wegen mir immer besser wurde. und er fragte wo ich mein glitzer herbekomme, das inspiriert ihn auch :)

ich meine die mischung: cat power, coco rosie, vashti bunyan, white magic- eben die besondere mischung der besonderen frauenstimmen. und freunde mit so einer übereinstimmung mag ich sehr gerne haben, wir könnten die verbesserung anstreben. gruß aus hamburg. du kommst allerdings aus der romantischeren stadt*

ich fands toll! das beste konzert von den 3 die ich auf der tour gesehen habe in deutschland. aber vllt bin ich auch zu beeinflusst von wolf song.Es wurde von song zu song immer besser und das finale mit klaus nomi - total eclipse auch absolutly amazing war. top! mal wieder die charmanteste person der welt. und die soundprobleme waren absolut obligatorisch um so eine show hinzulegen und sich da so rein zu knien!
