mercredi soir : Anticipateurs, Mr. Muthafuckin' Exquire et DAM Funk jeudi : Alaclair Ensemble, Loud Lary Ajust, Maybe Watson et surement faire un crochet par Joey Bada$$ et Juicy J vendredi soir : je ne sais pas encore, go with flow. samedi : peut-être aller voir Lil B pour le LOL dimanche : je suis au Piknic Electronik (j'y travaille et j'ai pas réussi à avoir off) sinon, j'essaye de me téter des passes médias avec CISM. d'ailleurs, si jamais l'envie te prend, j'anime ''Les turbo tannants'' les lundis de 14h30 à 16h sur les ondes du 89,3. Just sayin'.

tssssss. on aura tout entendu. je suis allé voir les Sainte-Catherines et Fucked Up pour ensuite filer à l'Absinthe voir un show hommage à Refused (un petit réchauffement avant le show à New-York le 22 avril) et retourner au Métropolis pour une autre prestation mémorable d'Alaclair Ensemble. je pense qu'ils ont fait un bon hit hier. il va en avoir d'autres sans nul doute possible. déménage de Montréal. ;)

naaaaah, je vois vraiment pas de quoi tu parles. ;) j'ai trouvé ça loooooooooooong, damn, y'avait mille opening acts, les portes ouvraient à 20h, le show n'a pas commencé avant 11h. n'empêche que c'était franchement bien, il a enligné classique par dessus classique, entre coupés de chansons de Killah Priest et Sheek Louch qui l'accompagnaient sur scène. disons qu'il n'a pas raté sa première venue en 15 ans au Canada.

j'avoue que, rendu là, tu es aussi bien de ne pas manquer ta chance. toi, tu sais à quoi je ressemble. pas moi. je peux rien faire pour remédier à la situation. tu as raison, j'étais bel et bien au spectacle de radio radio et chromeo hier soir. déception pour chromeo en dj set dans une salle sans alcool et tout le tralala. m'enfin, on se recroise prochainement sans que je ne le sache. :)

Jcommence juste à récupéré! Ça starter avec les deux shows de AF. Moi j'ai bien aimé, jcrois que le monde s'attendais à trop (invité surprise, toune caché,etc), et c'est pour ça quia eu du monde de décu. Jsuis allé voir le Tribute de Zappa avec le gars de Uncle Bad Touch/Priestess,iétait Fn' bon, la seule chose est que le travail de Zappa est tellement grand, kiavait bcp moins de chance qu'il joue ce que je voulais entendre. Après ia eu Laura Marling: Toujours aussi bonne, même si j'ai moins aimé ça que lorsqu'elle était venu au Divan Orange. Jcrois que la foule en ai pour quelque chose (crier des noms de tounes & leur amour pour Laura devient irritant à la longue). J'ai finit ça relax avec Jim Ward au Cagibi. J'aurai aimé aller voir les shows plus tard en soirée (Fucked Up, Think About Life ou le tribute 60/70s de Win), mais jcrois que jsuis rendu trop vieux pour faire ça et aller travailler le lendemain lol Mais c'est toujours un plaisir! Beau et court festival pour moi! Outre Arcade Fire et Grimes au Métropolis, je ne suis resté qu'à la Tour Prisme sur Beaumont vendredi dernier. Je voulais voir Hôtel Morphée au début de la soirée, mais c'était plein pour un certain groupe de tueurs de loups. Et je croyais terminer au Il Motore avec Dirty Beaches, mais comme j'avais vraiment accroché sur l'ambiance de la Tour, j'y suis resté pour voir tout le lineup. Un vrai POP hopper sur place. Enfin, samedi pris dans la belle-famille et dimanche mou. Me sens vieux en écrivant ça. Et le tien était comment?

Hahah wais, surtout que j'avais adder les dernieres entries hier soir, et ca planter, alors j'ai du recommencer ce matin :P En meme temps, ca me fait decouvrir qui joue a chaque annee, que j'aurai pu manquer en lisant trop vite, comme jviens de voir que Jim Ward va y etre (At the drive in, Sparta), mais pas de date encore.... C'est quand qu'ils sortent les dates pour les shows??

Damn. Mes souvenirs sont flous et je crois que tu es la seule de nous deux qui sait à quoi l'autre ressemble. =P Alaclair, c'était tout simplement génial, et ils ont réussis à bien s'en sortir considérant le fait qu'ils pensaient n'avoir qu'une demie-heure de set (c'est ce que Maybe m'a dit avant le show avant que je lui montre le programme). Sinon, The Flaming Lips, fou fou fou, Death From Above 1979 tout simplement génial, et Crystal Castles qui m'ont vraiment, vraiment surpris sans être mon show coup de coeur du week-end. Alors, à quand notre prochaine rencontre improvisée? =P

OH OUI. J'ai passé une superbe fin de semaine au Parc Jean Drapeau, c'était tout simplement génial. Vendredi et dimanche furent deux magnifiques journées, samedi, je travaillais au bar de la Scène Piknic Électronik et c'était tout aussi génial. Et toi, ton Osheaga? Tu l'as appréciée? Est-ce qu'on s'y ait croisés? Peut-être bien.

Buck 65 est un excellent mc que je ne me lasserai pas d'écouter de sitôt. amen. quant au show de fuck buttons, j'avoue que d'aller le voir à new-york, c'est drôlement plus exotique, mais à Montréal, le crowd est de feu. j'aime bien la salle du Il Motore, assez pour me dire que ça vaut la peine de me rendre voir le spectacle dans cette salle. alors, tu en penses quoi de ce nouveau flylo? je le trouve vachement solide! et tu as entendu le nouveau sage francis?

AH! Et il y a Man Man qui m'empêche de dormir aussi, depuis le spectacle gratuit de samedi en l'occasion de la marche pour la légalisation de la marijuana, drôle d'occas'. Mais un show gratuit, c'est un show gratuit hein! Et surtout Man Man, eux qui ne viennent jamais à Montréal.

miam, je vois que tu as Bike for Three! qui roule chez toi. je viens de redécouvrir ce magnifique album depuis que j'ai récupéré ma copie précédemment prêtée. là, tu parles! Gonjasufi, le dernier She & Him ainsi que le dernier Radio Radio roulent tous en boucle ces temps-ci dans mon laptop ainsi que sur mon iPod. Cependant, les pièces scrobblées sur celui-ci ne sont pas comptabilisées, maudit soit je ne sais quel problème. Je viens de voir que tu annonçais le show de Fuck Buttons sur ta page, tu y seras? I'll be there for sure, on se croise peut-être incognito au Il Motore ce soir-là.

disons qu'avec le beau temps à nos portes, le dernier album de Radio Radio roule en boucle sur mon iPod, sinon, quand beaucoup de folk dans le genre de The Tallest Man on Earth, Bowerbirds, Akron/Family, Dr. Dog. Je suis tombé en pleine gueule dans le indie rock aussi en laissant de côté un peu mes tendances hip-hop. Y'a Atmosphere qui ne m'a cependant jamais quitté, et Oxmo Puccino aussi héhé. Et toi, ça s'enligne vers quoi ces temps-ci miss "compatibilité musicale géniale"?
