It sounds like what you need to go is go back to the roots and listen to some pre-pickup-truck country. Try getting one of Johnny Cash's American albums, let's say American IV: The Man Comes Around. You'll find on it some covers of familiar pop songs, and it'll show you the blues/rock roots of country, forgetting the horrible pop that's been around for the last 15 years masquerading as country.

The northwest is amazing. Western Washington is entirely green with tons of mountains and forests, so the scenery is top notch. Seattle is a great city too with a wonderful music scene and cool places to see. It is hard for me to imagine living anywhere else, it is truly awesome.

I will admit I never used the radio very much, but tried out yours last night. It seems that our music compatibility rating of super is justly deserved because it totally rocked!

thanks, yea, i like dinos too. when i was around four, i put an exhibit in the library of all my dinosaur figurines, and the librarians told me, when it was time for me to take them all out, that it was one of the most popular exhibits the'd ever held. BTW i see you like Bears! Are you by chance a Clevelander? My band is playing with them in two weeks!!!! Comment back!!
