Haven't listened to it yet - I didn't even know they brought out another album! Might give it a cursory listen, but I don't have very high expectations since only 2 tracks were good from the last album (Dystopia)

Hey :-) Of course I remember you buddy! Yeah Iced Earth is tops - favourite albums are Burnt Offerings, Horror Show, and Night of the Stormrider - some good tracks on all of the other albums too. Saw them last year, albeit without Matt Barlow, but still very very good live. I highly suggest you pick up their "Alive in Athens" DVD - one of the best live performances you'll ever see.

Hello, my dear. It's terribly cold, yes. I hate both the cold and the snow. I just pray that it doesn't get worse...:-S Ophelia's Dream is great. I was wondering if you like your compatriots from [artist]Tides from Nebula[/artist]. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxD_nlM40Qw Just beautiful! They were simply amazing live.;)

Another year has gone by and here I am again to wish you the best and let you know that I haven't forgotten you. Since I'm here, I could also recommend you a nice band that you'd probably like - [artist]Syven[/artist]. I think you remember them from the compilation Whom the Moon a Nightsong Sings. They finally released their album and it's pretty awesome. ;) There is another reason for which I've been thinking about you. I found a fan translation for "The Sword of Destiny" and I'm currently reading it (and enjoying it a lot, of course). If I recall correctly, you said it was Sapkowski's best work. I've already read half of it and I have to disagree: I prefer "The Last Wish", with its humour and the arrogant self-assured Geralt (=> I'm less in love with him :p). Anyway, you're welcome to pay me a visit when you've got time. It'd be a good opportunity, if not to see me, at least to practice your English.;))

Hi, Radko! I'm very glad to hear from you, old friend.:) I hope everything is fine, you're probably waiting for the new year to come, like the rest of the world. Anyway, your singer is right, too much success can cause irreparable damage to the quality of the music.:p Luckily for you, all those guys you mentioned were good before going bad, so you still have their older albums to love. As for me, my favourite bands are too underground to ever see the (day)light of public recognition.:))

Yeah, the new Therion is an interesting listen, with moments of brilliance but quite incoherent though. The new guitarist is no Kristian Niemann and production isn't brilliant either. Vocals are good, but not amazing by Mr Vikstrom's high standards. You probably have heard Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells if you've watched The Exorcist. If not, you must pick that up, it's classic!

Have you heard the newest Mike Oldfield album - it's all classical, but it ranks right up there with Tubular Bells! I'm gonna pick up the new Therion this weekend - I'm sad Mats Leven is no longer in the band, but I'm a big fan of Thomas Vikstrom so I hope it's good.

Yeah they have it all wrong - from what I've read, Poland has been on the way up relative to other European countries for quite a while! Although people would want me to "grow out of it" it saddens me that PC-gaming is on it's irreversable demise - I just don't buy into console gaming at all. I do accounting, which sucks, but pays well. I'm really just doing right now since it is related to my uni degree - in future I'd like to start a business of some sort, haven't decided what sort yet! Thanks for the recommendation, I checked out the youtube clip and sounds really good.

Good, I returned to last fm 2 months ago. Since we last talked I've finished university and have had to get off my lazy bum and get a real job! My tastes have changed somewhat, I've learned to appreciate doom metal (FINALLY!!) and other "slow" music - looking to get more ambient and atmospheric electronica like Biosphere, Vangelis, Delerium etc. How have you been?

Hi, dear! You can be so charming when you aren't mean.:P It was very kind of you to give me hope. How many years must I wait for "The Sword of Destiny"? I'll probably be an old woman by then and I'll lose interest in Geralt.:)) You were very harsh with one of my favourite songs, which wasn't very nice of you, but I forgave you, what else could I have done?:P You are, after all, one of my oldest (and dearest) friends around here. Hug.

I see you've listened to Autumn and Abyssphere and yet you've said nothing about it. Did you really hate them?:( I've read "Blood of the Elves" and I have to admit that both the characters and the story are catchy. Actually I might be in love with Geralt.:P I don't know what I'm going to do till april 2011, when the next book will be translated into English.:(( How are you, my dear?

I think I understand you, but you must also understand that you are asking too much of people. Change their lives, grieve for ever over some strangers' death? People's feelings are not meant to last for ever and for a good reason. We wouldn't be able to live if sorrow, hate or even love were eternal. I agree that the sudden change of attitude is disturbing or disgusting, as you call it. On the other hand, I have no respect for mass-media and the journalists who feed on dirt, tragedies and "sensational" news. So, please, my dear friend, don't let such small things get to you. Mourn, if you feel the need to mourn, just don't blame the world for being what it is. You can't change it, nothing can. (I'll keep a hug and a shoulder ready in case you need them.)
